Access One Night With You (Fatal, #0.5) Interpreted By Marie Force Presented As Mobi
sweet shorty. Short, wonderful backstory of how Nick and Sam met, It is talked about in the first book in the series and this was a view into the that night.
Love the characters, writing and every thing else about this series! "Nicholas Domenic Cappuano at your service, but I go by Nick.
"
"So, you're Irish, huh"
Even his laughter was sexy,
Ha Ha, Sam, always the smartass,
OK, I love Sam and Nick, I love Sam. She is a real tomboy, Hates dressing up. Doesn't really do relationships. Loved seeing Skip, prior to Book, I really must get back to this series, Will get back to proper reviews in a day or two, . . if the jet lag doesn't hit me,
Now, I want to reread the first book to remember what happened when they remeet.
Talk about explosive chemistry! This novella proves they've had it since the beginning, It also proves Sam's exhusband is an ahole, but for those that have read the series, . . we knew that already. Wow. This was great.
Overlooked quite a few cheesy expressions used in this novella to give it five, but with all the terrible writing in the market these days, One Night With You was a pleasant surprise.
Cant wait to read this entire series, stars.

This is a weird one for me, as we know there's no HEA for Sam and Nick for another six years and a lot of bad stuff happened in between.
On the other hand, it's good to hear what happened all those years ago but it does seem a bit strange that they didn't connect after Nick's European trip, especially since he knows where she works and she knows where he lives.
. .
Anyway, a good primer for the latest book, . . I have been desperate to read this story, ever since Marie Force announced it would be coming out, and it really didn't disappoint.
As it was funny and hot especially when Sam lifted her skirt to show Nick she had a gun attached to her thigh And I loved getting a glimpse of a very flirty Nick, Skip before he was shot and the horrid Peter.
And for me this really is a MUST read for anyone who is a fan of the series.
Really liked finally getting the deets on Nick/Sam's first meet, Even finding out Peter was creepy according to Sam's sisters from the very beginning, A super sexy fast read, Now I'm more than ready for Fatal Frenzy bkafter reading the free chapter at the end of the the novella.
Anxious for the September release date and more Nick/Sam, Rated.Stars
This is the prequel to Marie Force's series, Fatal, This SS really has nothing to do with the series, other than the two MC's of the series meet one another and get intimately acquainted when they have a one night stand.
They want to know each other more but doubt themselves and move on, leaving the story unresolved.
I can assure you though, that these two will meet again in bookand be a HUGE part of the series.
So you don't have to read this if ya don't want, or you may decide to read it down the road as a "when they first meet" light read.
It's a Smoking Hot story for sure but not much else as far as the series goes.
Short novella that packs a big punch! Can't wait to dive into this series! A perfect novella of that first encounter between Sam and Nick.
Since the debut of Fatal Affair in, Fatal Series readers have been wondering about that “memorable” onenight stand between Sam Holland and Nick Cappuano that took place six years before Fatal Affair opens.
Well, wonder no more!
One Night With You tells the story of Sam and Nicks fateful first meeting in which all the chemistry and heat we have come to expect from them is on full display from the first moments they meet.
Get all the details of Sam and Nicks unforgettable night together in this, word novella! You might want to keep a fan and some ice water handy, because this story is HOT! I read this after sitelinkFatal Affair, and am glad I did.
There are comments that make a lot of sense one you know future events, that are questionable foreshadowing here.
I thought the two had great chemistry, but decided to hookup incredibly quickly, And they didn't talk or get to know each other enough to justify Nick's carrying a torch for so long or Sam's disappointment in not hearing from him.
I liked her family dynamics, although I think her father was putting on the affection a bit much.
After all, she sees him all the time, and it wasn't a special occasion, However, I got a good feeling for the dynamics between Sam and her father and sister, The relationships were full of life and believable, First, in interest of full disclosure I've read the entire series, So coming back to the prequel of Sam and Nick's first encounter I found it to be as sexy, hot and full of chemistry as you'd have expected.
Nick is seriously hot, smart and really has a thing for Sam, Which is fortunate for Sam because she definitely has a thing for him,
So for what it was intended to be it totally worked, but there were a few moments that I had an ahhreally moment.
Some foreshadowing was included, but there was also moments where her internal dialog was running exactly opposite of what really happens as Fatal Affair will show.
Yes excuse me while I enjoy a good eye roll, but I put it all down to hubris on Sam's part, the confidence of being young.
Once you read Fatal Affair, you'll get it, she's a lot more jaded and smarter as the series continues,
This review is not loaded with spoilers, but I did hint at a few things.
Now I was asked would this spoil Fatal Affair having read this first, the answer is slightly.
The opening would be spoiled as well as the hints at their one night stand would slowly be revealed in Fatal Affair spoiling reader suspense of those moments.
But if you're one to read the ending but still read the book this won't bother you one single bit.
Even if you aren't it shouldn't ruin anything, plenty of their first encounter and what followed is part of the charm of Fatal Affair.
Felicity Munroe's narration took a few minutes to adjust to, but I grew to like it.
She warmed up to her material as she went along which showed, The series is narrated by the following and I've posted my preferred narrators in order: Eva Kaminsky, Felicity Munroe amp Katie Sparer
Finally in my opinion this is a great series for fans of Eve and Rourke of In Death fame.
It's what drew me in, it's not quite the same, It feels less heavy than In Death, but it's definitely two professionals very successful with their lives that are draw to each other regardless of how they got there.
Both Sam amp Nick/Eve amp Rourke share incredible chemistry, The cast of both series have you coming back for more, I found In Death to be far more brutal graphically, but it's edgier as well,
Both this series and In Death are worth your attentions, FYI In Death is narrated by an A narrator Susan Ericksen, So if you give it a try be sure to try a narration,

In brief: It doesn't get much better in novellaland, y'all
Why did I wait so long to start this series! While I know most fans of the Fatal series started with book, I was glad I had the chance to read the prequel that Force wrote many years later before I dove headfirst into Fatal Affair which, of course, I did after reading this tease!.
For me as a reader, novellas/prequels in general are hard to hit the mark because it is difficult to develop characters and a relationship in such a short time period.
This one, however totally worked, I wanted so much more after finishing this "quickie" with Sam and Nick! Thankfully, I had bookto open immediately after I finished this :
If you aren't sure about whether you would like this series, read this before you commit you'll be invested and wanting to read on!

Both Nick and Sam were less intense, which I liked, We meet Peter and see the seeds of his later behavior and we see Skip before he was injured on the job.
Lots of humor and
sexy times, a pleasant story, YES. I so needed a good romance novel with some crime in it, and now I'm in the mood to purchase the rest of this series because you know me I can't quit a series.
It's a mental disorder, I'm sure of it, I also have to tell you that if you are a long time reader here, you know that one of my favorite authors of all time is Linda Howard.
I know, sometimes I get an eye roll and sometimes I get an appreciative nod of the head, but she is.
I would fan girl in her bushes in her front lawn if I could, But I have to tell you that Marie Force She's kind of like my new Linda Howard.
I know.
It's a big thing to say but I really liked her writing style and how she crafted the story because it was so reminiscent of what you get with a great Linda Howard book.
The bonus is that Linda gives you one, maybe two stories with characters, and Marie is giving us an entire series and I have very little self control so you know these are going to be on my shopping list soon.
Anyways.
The book was SO good, Immediately it begins with the murder of Senator John O'Connor, who was found by his life long friend and assistant, Nick Cappuano.
Obviously Nick calls the police and who comes along but Samantha Holland, his one night stand from six years previous that he still thinks about as the one who got away.
Sam, who is fresh off of leave from duty after a child was shot under her command and the mental anguish of that, is taken aback at seeing Nick again and it's clear that whatever flame they had that one night, it didn't go away.
So throughout the book we have their simmering sexual tension but we also have this really interesting murder to solve and Marie Force keeps you on the EDGE the entire time.
Was it a woman scorned Political rivals Jealous family member Or did John lead a totally secret life and perhaps that's what has happened Just as things start coming together, Sam's life is threatened by the mother of the deceased child from her previous case but are the threats really from her, or from someone trying to get Sam off the Senator's case
I flew through this book, I loved the who Law amp Order SVU feel of the book, I loved the sexual tension between Sam and Nick, and I am absolutely in love with the fact that this is the start of a SERIES, you guys.
A series. You know I love a good series, I'm so excited to read the rest! Favorite Quotes:
The evidence is irrefutable, Thirty and reasonably good looking, decent job, yet still unmarried and unattached, . . You're either still living with your mother or you've got a weird and disgusting habit like collecting all the belly button lint from your whole life into a baggie or something.
All in all, he'd blown her away, and that wasn't easy to do, Her friends teased her about being "the guy" in every relationship,
Oh, she liked this guy, She liked him a whole lot, As a rule, she didn't really like anyone, She put up with people, especially guys who were usually all talk and no action, This one had the goods to go along with the words, And he was sweet and funny and sexy as hell,
God, he knew what he was doing, He played her like a maestro trained to please her and only her, And wasn't that a terrifying thought This was supposed to be a onenight thing, and now she was beginning to wonder if he was the guy she'd been meant to find after years of dating all the wrong men.
If this one was wrong, she didn't want to be right,
My :
My first Marie Force read so now I see what all the fuss is about.
The story was engaging, amusing, and sexy, I am hooked, reel me in!
