was an okay book, The drawings are very detailed regarding the fur on the animals, It's a story about friendship, so this book would't really be in the Christmas category, but it can still count as a Winter and Holidays book.
There's no mention of Christmas, but it does say "Merry, merry, holly, holly, hohoho" in the title and in the story, There's also a picture of a pine tree with twinkling lights so I guess you can count this as a Christmas book if you really want to.

Cork the muskrat knows theres something special about today, but he just cant figure out what it is, So he and his best friend, the possum Fuzz, go on a search to find a tree for a little “piece of quiet,” so they can think about what makes this day so special.
But the first tree has too many birds, and the next has too many squirrelsthey're not quiet at all! At last, when the snow begins to fall, Cork and Fuzz find the perfect place to rest their heads: under a lovely outdoor Christmas tree.
In the end, Cork realizes what makes this day so special is that he is “in a beautiful place with my friend.
” Adorable, Each year I read some children's Christmas Books for enjoyment n possibly purchases, Enjoyed this book. Interestingly, this story is strictly a Christmas one, It does contain a few Christmas season elements such as a bell, and a tree with lights, and a special feeling in the air, but the focus is on the two friends.
It's always fun to watch two such different friends interact with each other, Cork and Fuzz are searching for a piece of quiet so that Cork can think about why the day feels so special, but it isn't until they find a tree with lights that they discover what truly makes the day special.
I've always been a fan of McCue's darling illustrations and this book reminds me why, Both Cork and Fuzz as well as the birds and squirrels are absolutely adorable, A sweet book and a nice reminder about the value of friendship, Darling illustrations, but the story was blah, I don't like the song, but the rest of the book is cute, Im always looking for good Christmas books this one is cutealthough theres not much to the story, A good book for very young children, I had fun reading this Christmas book with my little sister! I myself still like reading children's books! Rating:,A bit too cutesy for my liking, I tend to like Cork n Fuzz generally speaking, though, A Oh what a cute book, I can't honestly say I "get" it, or even that I like all of it he says "Oh Nuts!" and that's started my son saying it lol.
