I had read some other books that had prepared the soil as it were to receive the message contained within the pages of this book.
I have to say that Matthew Bryan has brought such clarity to the message that reading about and grasping the original good news is nothing short of revelatory.
I think

chapters,andare the strongest and the book is worth getting just for those three chapters alone, I was especially interested in the information he gave regarding Luther and Erasmus, Highly recommended.

Some other books to add depth and perspective would be, "The Apostolic Preaching And Its Developments" by C, H. Dodd, "Salvation By Allegiance Alone" by Matthew Bates, "The Gospel of The Kingdom" by George Eldon Ladd and "The Demonstration of The Apostolic Preaching" by Irenaeus of Lyons.
