WOW!! I've not read book one, but I received this book in return for an honest review, I was captivated with Tanner and Jules story and now I'm hooked on the series!! Karolyn James sure swept me up with the excitement with the band.

Jules ran from her family and their simple life expectations, She's struggling to make ends meet and living in abedroom apartment with roommate Tara, Jules sang with a band a while back and looks for the chance to get back on track with her now going nowhere career.


Jules lands a gig singing backup for Tanner's band Gone by Autumn who is on the brink of making it big time.

Admittedly, I've done this all wrong.
I was fortunate enough to get an ARC for theth book in this particular series in exchange for a review, I wrote and posted that review and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THAT STORY! Nothing wrong with that except I hadn't read the first books in this particular series.
I don't normally do that, and really prefer not to do that, So after reading, I started with, Ryan's story and posted that review LOVED iT! and just tonight finishedin the series aboutper day.
I read straight through Chasing Cross and got a couple deep into Fallen Tuesday, before being pulled in another direction, I've also read several of her MC stories, I guess I get distracted by shiny objects waiting for the next release in a series, but regardless it didn't impact how much I loved GONE BY AUTUMN's series.
In fact, it gave me things to watch for and pick up on in the early books beforewas written, These books all fit together wonderfully, I find myself amazed at the depth of knowledge Karolyn James has about music, writing it, playing it, living the rocker lifestyle, It's that musical detail, the character development and those steamy hot scenes that keep me coming back for more of her writing, Under the Lights Gone by Autumn Book Two A Brothers of Rock Novel

This is convoluted,

Then theres Richie, a record executive that taunts him about branching out“you dont want to see Gone by Autumn to go away, but yet youre sitting at my table talking about the band breaking up.

Grammatical errorsmildly interesting, Drama and minor conflict. Absolutely amazing

Was beyond enthralled with this book, I loved Tanners story from start to finish, I love watching hard core rockers fall hard and fast when they least expect it, and this story more than captured my attention it brought me to my knees.
Not enough words to say how great this book is, and I can't wait to buy the next one!! I really liked this book.
Cant wait to read about the rest of the band, This is the second book about the band Gone By Autumn, This book is about Tanner, a guitarist with the band and it picks up where the first book left off, The band has decided to add a new dimension to their band with backup singers, They add three females with strict rules the guys do not get involved with them, Jules happens to be one of the new singers and Tanner has a strong attraction to her from the first time they meet, He not only breaks the band's rule but also his own rules, no commitments, gone by morning,
This book shows how the band interacts with each other and how they consider each other family,
I love how these books in the series flow together, one picks up where the last left off, Each book is about a different band member, I can't wait to get started on the next book, I received this book for an honest review,
Tanner Ashwind is one of the hot guitarists in the band Gone by Autumn is who is on the quick rise to super stardom.
A typical rockstar who loves hanging with his band and a new girl in his bed every night as long as they understand the rules they don't stay and no repeats.
The only negative thing in his life right now is feeling like the band is taking a backseat while their front man Ryan gets extra attention due to a personal family scandal.
He has everything he wants so he thinks until one of their sexy new back up singers catches his eye, Jules is looking for her big break, when she gets the opportunity to audition for Gone by Autumn it's a dream come true, what she never expected was a connection with their sexy guitar player.

This book has a ton of promise, I really enjoyed the characters and I liked the fact that we still get to see Ryan from the first book though would have liked to have seen Raine too.
Tanner is a sexy alpha who goes after what he wants which makes for some hot scenes, My issue with the book was the transitions both from scene to scene and between POVs they weren't as smooth as I would have liked and I found that distracting a couple of times I had to stop and go back a sentence or two to make sure I was interpreting the scene correctly.
It made it hard for me to become fully absorbed in the book, My other struggle was with the hurdles in the story, I felt like there was this big build up for both Tanner and Jules of things that are effecting them and could impact their various relationships but when it all came out it felt a bit like a let down.
I felt the author could have maybe taken it further to match the intrigue she built in the beginning of the book, Overall it was a good read with strong characters and it is a standalone with no cliffhanger, Tanners book

Mmmm mmm good, If the rest of this series is as good as the first two books, I may just read thru the whole series in two days! Wonderful hot sexy, funny read about our favorite rock star from Gone by autumn, Tanner finds the one women that can finally give him the closure to a painful past.
But will it cost him his band will a pushy record executive push Tanner to leave the group to peruse a solo act Now I could tell you what happens, and it is so good, but I won't spoil it for you, so hurry get your copy today, and take a wild ride with a rock star.
I was so captivated by Under the lights, I couldn't put it down, I don't want to give away any spoilers, I loved this book and even though I haven't read the first book, I highly recommend this series, Can't wait for more.
