put Georgia through.
She struggles to leave her house and for the past year, she hasnt, She forces herself to go out and run errands once a week, but has to be medicated to do so, She cant let anyone into her home, and shes been living a very lonely, isolated life, stuck inside while the world lives around her, But, shes found a way to live vicariously through her next door neighbor, Colby, by spying on him, Yes, she knows what shes doing is horrible but when she realizes the type of sexual life that Colbys living, she just cant put the binoculars down.
Shes also a writer and her books have taken on a steamier angle since she started spying on her sexy neighbor, While she thinks shes being secretive, the reality is Colby knows exactly what shes doing, and has been giving her a show for months, Hes had enough of their silent game and wants to get to know his neighbor on a much more personal level,

Colby is a counselor at an alternative high school and when one of the students he counseled tries to kill himself, everyone is quick to the throw the blame at Colby for not catching the signs.
Hes not at fault, but it brings up things that happened in Colbys past with another student when he was a teacher trying to help a teen, Adam Keats, come to terms with an abusive father, bullying at school and his sexuality.
While no teacher/student lines were ever crossed, Adam left a suicide note, disappeared and once again, accusations were made painting Colby in a bad light, He left that job, went back to school to become a counselor and is now right back in a similar situation, being blamed for something thats not his fault.
Now on leave from his job, he has nothing but time and puts that time to use by getting to know Georgia better, What he didnt expect was to randomly cross paths with the missing Adam Keats, whos nowand barely getting by working day to day in construction and doesnt have a place to call home.
Colby takes him home and gives him some help whether Keats wants it or not and a lot of questions from the past come rushing forward, Keats is still confused about his sexuality, hes straight, but being around Colby brings up a lot of feelings hes not sure he wants to acknowledge, Colby too starts to realize that hes feeling something more for Keats and its a struggle because he still sees him as his student even though theyre both older now.
Toss into the mix Georgia who, even though shes lived a solitary, single life for a year, is desperate to find the woman she once was, Shes attracted to both men, both men are attracted to her and to each other and they start a relationship that could either be the best thing any of them have ever found, or it could destroy them all.

Im split on my feelings about this book, I really liked Georgias story and her struggle in dealing with her exs actions and how Colby and Keats help her get past her panic attacks and anxiety.
She has great chemistry with both Keats and Colby, but I found myself more drawn toward her and Colby then I ever did with all three of them together.
I also enjoyed Colby and seeing his own struggles with desperately wanting to get his job back and seeing how much helping the kids he works with means to him.
What I had a hard time with was Keats and his past relationship with Colby,

Colby and Keats did nothing inappropriate when they were teacher/student, Thats made perfectly clear, but it was a relationship that I couldnt get past when they started to act on their attraction to one another, I just couldnt separate their previous relationship with the one they were trying to figure out in the present, I think a lot of that has to do with Colby and Georgia being in theirs and Keats being, The age difference didnt work for me here for some reason as it felt a lot bigger than maybe it really was, I just didnt buy in that Keats, even though he comes across as a matureyear old, would really “fit” in the relationship dynamic that plays out on page.

Ultimately, Im torn about how I feel about Nothing Between Us, Id say give it a read for Colby and Georgias story, not only their personal relationship but what theyre each dealing with outside the bedroom, Although Georgias storyline with her ex is a bit predictable, I got caught up in her own personal struggle in dealing with the trauma she went through.
But I had a hard time buying into the triad relationship they have with Keats, Hes a sweet guy and an interesting character, but he just seemed too young and I couldnt let the teacher/student relationship go, When I first heard about Colby's story, I decided I needed it in my life as fast as humanly possibly as I thought I might die for withdrawal.
In retrospect, that was likely a bad statement because now after finishing, I am in even more in love with Roni Loren's books and am in a state of needing to go reread all of her books.
As I've just found a new favorite read, Jace, Andre, and Ev and Kelsey and Wyatt and my two favorite sets of lovers from Roni Loren's books, but Colby, Georgia, and Keats just took the running for a new favorite.
Holy macaroni was that one awesome story intense to the boot and an intense amount of sexy that it should come with a warning: read with caution.
The romance inside will likely knock you on your butt and leave you dying for more,

This series is easily my favorite out there, Each story gets stronger and stronger, and I fall more and more in love with the characters, especially the few who pop in from time to time.
Particularly one character, and if you've read any of Roni Loren's other books, you'll easily know who that is

Colby's story had me completely sold.
Right away, Loren draws in readers with a scene that happens in Kade's stoy which was a neat entry to the story, From there, the gate is open and the story races on by, I literally sat down and read this one straight through, and it's not a short book by any means, I was entranced and couldn't put it down,

The chemistry between the three lovers was hot from the get go, I loved watching them all build relationships with one another yet making it work all together as one, Things that happen in this one are not for the feeble minded as that shit is hot,

Now my excitement is settling in for Call On Me, which releases right in time for my birthday, . . as I've been waiting for Pike's happily ever after for quite awhile now, I feel the need to check up on how him and Monty, his dog, are doing, And hopefully that means we get a Cela and Ian check in as well, In the mean time, I'll be over here rereading the series, Over and over. And falling more in love,

BONUS: Remember Hawk from Kelsey and Wyatt's story Ya, . . he makes an appearance. And gets his own story, And it's pretty awesome. I loved seeing where him and Christina were at, And you really see both characters, particularly Christina come into their own, AND there is an appearance from Wyatt and Kelsey, which makes this story even more awesome, This book is so tasty like a chocolate bar I can't stop reading,

We have met Colby in previous books in this series, He is tired now of being the single one out of all his friends from the Ranch, He doesn't mind playing third for a night, He just hates going to bed alone every night,

Now Georgia moved away from her hometown of Chicago to Texas, She is hiding away from her ex boyfriend, Hoping he stays in jail for killing her friend and sister, Now she meets Colby her sexy neighbor from across the street, There are times were she can't stop watching him from her window Especially when he's naked damn that man is a hot dominant,

Colby bumps into one of his former student Adam whom he could never forget, Which makes this book so much better, I wish I can be Georgia for a night is all I can say for now and DAMN!!!,

Plus there is an added novella in the end,

Merged review:

If you read Lady K's story in Caught Up In You of the Loving on the Edge series you will love this.
We finally get to see what happens to Hawk Lady K submissive who is a football player, He was hiding his submissive side from his girlfriend, Until Kelsey told him to tell the girlfriend, Chris said she was will to train to be a domme cause she loves Hawk, That's where this story continues on, Oh my why couldn't it be longer so so good, I'm happy for themstars

Another great, sexy story in the series, I've been intrigued by Colby since he showed up in the earlier books and wondered how his story would go,

Here we have a story of three people Colby of course as the Domcometherapist who cant seem to find the right person to settle down with and subsequently ends up being the 'third' in many of the other characters' games.
This changes slightly when he finally manages to have a conversation with his shy, skittish neighbour Georgia, As a writer and recent recluse, Georgia has found herself secretly spying on Colby and his kinky proclivities over the last few months, Only she's not been as discrete as she thinks, Why is she so skittish Well it's clear this has not always been the case, That her anxiety is recent and as a result of something that happened back home in Chicago so she is taking time out to get herself together.

The two characters build a relationship of sorts, or more an agreement, Georgia manages to let go of most of her issues at the hands of Colby, who has his own problems relating to work, His past resurfaces in more ways than one, one being that of Keats, The two have some history, being that Colby was once Keats's music teacher before he ran away as a teenager, When the two reunite years later, just after Colby and Georgia meet, things are rather confusing for them,

So what do we get A threesome of course, But not like those seen in previous books, Yes, there's plenty of M/f and M/m but the threesomes tend to centre about a M/f/m and M/m/f and it's hot as hell!
Towards the end, the feelings between them all get complicated, with Keats believing the other two would be better off without ayear old young man who has to real job or prospects.
Then there's Georgia thinking the exact same due to her own problems and finally Colby wanting it all but not believing he deserves it, Luckily this is all sorted out until that is the grand finale related to Georgia's past,

I thoroughly enjoyed this steamy read that is certain to get the juices flowing!
So hot I nearly melted, I adored this book. Recommended.
