Take The Sheikhs Christmas Conquest (The Bond Of Billionaires #2) Expressed By Sharon Kendrick Expressed As E-Text

upon a time, Livvy was a horse whisperer, Then Evil Rupert cruelly jilted her at the altar, and she left the horse world behind her, and converted her family mansion into a BampB.

Which is struggling, because the house is crumbling and there's no money, It's a pretty cool house with lots of open fire places and sections dating back to theth century, and Livvy has some guests arriving Christmas Eve.

So she's getting stuff ready when Saladin, Sheikh of Jazratan shows up, He has a horse that needs whispering, It's his favourite horse, and it will die if Livvy doesn't come help,

Livvy says no, Saladin is astounded! He asks if this has anything to do with that time Rupert jilted her, and does she want to talk about it and get over it and come fix his horse His secondary secret plan, now he's over the fact this is what a normal woman looks like when not fresh fromhours with a stylist and makeup artist, is to bang her.

When the power goes out, he fantasises about banging her against the wall,

Livvy is a virgin, Our pal Saladin doesn't know that yet, but it's not like I haven't read another virgin who got deflowered against a wall.
Abby Green totally did that, Although not personally, obviously she had a hero do it, and he may have started against the wall and then finished the job on the hall table, and, as is often typical of Geeen heroes, he may have failed to notice the hymen.
Green heroes are oblivious to so many things,

So while it's too soon for some wall action, and it's been done, I appreciated the momentary trip to erotic romance, and liked Saladin for his enthusiasm.
Plus, he was certain banging Livvy up against the wall would leave her in such a blissed out state that she'd immediately change her mind and go fix his horse.

Before Livvy and Saladin bang it out on the drawing room floor, beds: so overrated! we have to get Livvy's story of the jilting that didn't ruin her life, or did it

It's weak.
Rupert wanted Livvy's money, and when she found out she wasn't going to have any a week before the wedding and told him, he didn't show up at the wedding.
And, she later found out, he was sexing with another lady groom at the stables where they all worked, And, that lady groom was Livvy's best friend,

Which is apparently why Livvy is still a virgin at, but I'm not buying it, The whole delivery was off and lacked impact, The best friend is a label not a relationship, and Livvy lacks emotional range,

Plus, they're still at the BampB at the halfway point in the book, Which was all very well in terms of establishing intimacy and then having some really good sexy times, but what about the horse We're on a clock here.
I don't haveof a book to waste on by the numbers emotional pain before I get it confirmed that the horse is going to be fine.

Saladin finally manages to persuade Livvy to come to Jazratan and she puts in the obligatory 'you're offering to pay me too much money to whisper your horse' nonsense.
On the plane he tells her they're done, He won't sleep with a foreigner in front of his people, And not even in a totally non exhibitionist way, where they close the doors and do it somewhere soundproofed,

Livvy, who was pretty much expecting this, takes it in her stride, I do love how pragmatic Kendrick's heroines are,

And Saladin, of course, is totally miffed, Livvy should be devastated, and sulking and begging for another ride on his talented and pedigreed piece of flesh! How dare she He's one of Kendrick's cartoonishly arrogant heroes, although toned down compared to some of her really wild types.
He doesn't quite consider himself a god among men, He's also got this whole underlying fear of intimacy because he has a dead wife, I liked him because he's funny,

Fortunately the horse is fine, Unfortunately, I found this all completely anticlimactic, because if you're going to have something a bit magic, like horse whispering, and then you stop doing it after a traumatic jilting, I want at least some nervousness and doubt over whether it will still work.
And, when it does, that should mean something about love,

The second half of the book picks up the pace, and I did end up liking it more than I'd expected to after the slow start.
Enjoyed the book. I enjoyed this one.

I totally liked Olivia attitude in that she spoke her mind and didn't bow and kneel before him.
She said no and she meant no, She also continually surprised him by not weeping and wailing when he didn't give her more, like so many of his past women, . she left him confused.

I liked his confusion it took alittle bit away from his 'I am king' attitude and made him more human plus all that confusion and trying to understand her got him hooked.
He was a sexy alpha male with a caring heart that just needed that jolt to stop living the past.
Wonder why the cat didn't like him LOL!

There weren't any nasty OW or evil family members just some bad memories and a ghostly love.
. plus a sweet horse and a cat with an attitude, A highly entertaining read. This book was ok I'd give it a,if the rating was possible, Miniseries: sitelinkThe Bond of Billionaires review to come soon Pretty boring The Sheikh's Christmas Conquest was a compelling romance about a hero dealing with past heartache and the stubborn heroine who gives him a chance at love.

While this book was a very quick read, compelling too I felt the hero was lacking that devious over the top obsessed quality which would have made it astar I wanna do a reread type of romance.
Sadly the hero has a mediocre alpha quality that makes this reader a bit disappointed,

I first read a MampB book when I was about nine or ten, stealing them from my mother and hiding in my room to read them.
My mother was horrified when she found out, believing me too young to read a lot from the 'sexy' line and instead I had to only read the 'sweet' until I was in high school and they relented simply because my Nan had so many of them and I read more books that they could keep up with.
From a very long way, the Sheikh ones were kind of my favourites and I don't really know why, I think that probably of all the MampB storylines, these are the ones that are the most idealised and romanticised.

Olivia Miller has turned her back on the horse world but Sheikh Saladin Al Mektala isn't taking no for an answer when it comes to his star stallion.
He turns up to her BampB in terrible weather to persuade her to come back to his country and work her 'horse whisperer magic' on his injured stud so that he might be saved.
Olivia takes some convincing the horse world holds bad memories, humiliating ones and Saladin is a dangerously attractive man as well, which complicates things.
Eventually he promises enough money so that she could fix up her old house and get herself out of debt and she finds herself on a private plane, heading for a foreign land.

I don't read too many MampB these days but every now and then I find that they're a good palate cleanser or something nice and quick and easy to help when I'm in a bit of a slump and can't decide what I want to read next.
When I do read one, I like them to be like this, Although Sheikh Saladin is quite alpha, as most 'sexy' line heroes are, he manages to avoid verging into utter douchebag territory where they basically ride roughshod all over the female character.
He was nicely fleshed out with his grief over his first wife, which gave him some depth that the male heroes can often lack.
His devotion to his livestock also worked to accomplish this as well and I found that make him somewhat more likable.
Olivia was actually quite spunky, I do like the way that she attempted to hold her own as much as she could against the Sheikh and all of his obvious power and influence.

I enjoyed this, It's always good to have one or two handy as they are so useful for when you just want something that you don't have to think much about.
I stopped reading so many because some of the alphas made me irrationally angry but when you can find one that manages to balance it out, it's worth the read.
.stars
Typical sheikh romance with fiery antagonism between H/h, But passion and then love will tame their hearts, . Stars! The overpowering main character needed to be brought down a peg, I thought it was wonderful that Olivia did not fall at his feet and made him earn her respect and love.
Beauty and the Beast had nothing on these two, I received an ARC of The Sheikh's Christmas Conquest by Sharon Kendrick in exchange for an honest review, I have not read the first book in this series but that is ok as this book is a stand alone novel.
This is another book that I have read recently where I found myself really into the storyline and the characters.
Olivia takes the lead as a strong female but don't count Saladin out too quickly as he can dish it right back to Olivia as much as she can hash it out.
Their chemistry was undeniable. Plus they kept the story entertaining with their comments, I would not mind being stuck in a cabin in the winter with someone like Saladin, Even though Saladin is rich, he never flatted it and was down to Earth, The Sheikh's Christmas Conquest is a fun, quick, steamy read, Sweet love story about a brooding Sheikh who is still not over the death of his first wife and the woman who helps him heal the pain of his past.
Hero was too arrogant and Olivia was a sweetheart so that's a perfect combination as far as I'm concerned, Epilogue was heartwarming! Summoned by the sheikh!

Sheikh Saladin Al Mektala isn't used to being disobeyed.
Incomprehensibly, the woman he summoned to help his favorite mare, the best horse whisperer in the world, turned his generous offer down! So he takes matters into his own hands.

The snow is falling, the fire is roaring and the mince pies are in the oven when innocent Olivia Miller finds a darkly handsome and physically compelling man on her doorstep.
The sheikh she dared to refuse is here to whisk her off to his kingdom, and this time he won't take no for an answer!

A passionate read for Christmas nights! I had great hopes for this book when I started reading it.
Livvy seemed like a very spunky girl that wasn't going to take crap even from a Sheikh, She was working hard at keeping up the historical home as a sort of B amp B rather than working with horses.

Saladin needs her horse whispering skills for his own horse, I liked Saladin to a point, He wasn't overly arrogant but he did go out of his way to get what he wants,

Then things started to go wrong for me, The power outage from a snow storm as well as Livvy being a virgin just didn't sit with me, that and how quickly these two fell into bed.
I always like a little more "getting to know you" thing rather than a fling or a seduction,

The other thing that disappointed me was the lack of "Christmas" in the story, I read holiday stories, because I love that theme in the plot of the story, That element was pretty much nonexistent here, except that Livvy's guests were due for the holiday,

Everything else was pretty predictable from there on, including her healing his horse, I'm not
going to complain about that though, because even in fiction, I don't want to see an animal suffer.

This wasn't a bad read, It is pleasant enough for a quick weekend fix, but it just didn't fit the holiday bill for me, The hero bugged me . Just didn't like him very much, Yet another Alpha male romance novel, Fortunately, the heroine is fabulous, intelligent, and strong, Very sexy book Romantic

This story was a a very romantic while frustrating for the characters who tried to deny their strong attraction to each other.
The Sheikh's Christmas Conquest is the second book in the Bond of Billionaire's series and it was a good read.
The main characters in this story are Sheikh Saladin Al Mektala, and Olivia Miller,

Olivia Miller is ayear old woman who is known as a horse whisperer, the tops in her field, and she loved horses from the time she was put on the back of one at the age of three, and so it was only natural of her to build a career around t until her world came crashing down around her when she was jilted at the altar by a man who, after finding out she did not have a lot of money like he thought she did, walked away without a word, leaving her life in shambles.
She nursed her father on his death bed he was very old and her mother had died when she was younger.
His second bride was a gold digger, and a lot younger than him, and when she ran out of money to spend after going through Olivia's father's fortune she divorced him and almost took what was left.
After her father passed Olivia still had their family home, which she turned into a bed and breakfast Hotel, She never did go back to riding or working with horses again,

The holiday season is here and she is getting the inn ready for group of people coming to spend Christmas at the Inn, and she has worked so hard, as always to make things special.
She has been getting her inbox on her computer blown up with emails, and texts on her phone for her assistance to help Sheikh Saladin Al Mektala's sick thoroughbred race horse, and she keeps saying "no", but he keeps sending her messages daily.

Two days before Christmas there is a knock on her door and she ignores it as she is not expecting anyone and whoever it is is persistent, they keep knocking! When she opens her door she is stunned to see the Sheikh on her doorstep, looking quite annoyed! She can't believe that this tall, dark, and handsome perfect looking man is standing there.
He towers over her, she is not too tall and has a lean body herself and flaming red hair and freckles and she is wearing worn clothes and all she can think is "what is he doing here" She asks him where his bodyguards are and he tells her he is there alone.

After she lets him in and he tells her he needs her help she feels badly but refuses to go to his country, she personally does not feel the confidence she used to have.
Then the lights go out and the snow falls so hard they are stuck together!

Needless to say this book is quite entertaining and I know you will love it as well as I do.
There are certain things that come up in conversation, the sheikh is not used to dealing with someone who actually has the nerve to tell him "no" so to say the least it is amusing.
As you read further, it is funny the glimpses the author gives us as to what each of them is thinking and how they are going to get what they wantin his case, her on a plane to his country, and she getting him out of her home, even though she feels attracted to him!

I do not want to say anything else except that the plot has a coupe of good twists, the dialog
Take The Sheikhs Christmas Conquest (The Bond Of Billionaires #2) Expressed By Sharon Kendrick Expressed As E-Text
is excellent, there is a lot of sexual angst and desires they both want and a surprise the sheikh gets when he is determined to seduce Olivia! Will they get together Will Olivia go with him You have to read and find out! This is the perfect book for an afternoon to sit and read as it is not too short and not too long!

I gave this bookand look forward to more by this author!.
