I like Diamant's idea that predictable rituals like Shabbat provide a "proof of love" for a lifetime for kids, even if they don't remember the exact details from toddlerhood.
I also like her ideas about weaving Judaism into the fabric of your life so your kids are exposed early, just as you expose children to art, and music and other things your family values.
