Vergonzoso.
Sinceramente decepcionada.
Unfortunately this read like an extended advertisement for his previous book, I was hoping to learn about marketing and promotion but there wasn't anything I didn't already know, I cannot believe I paid almostfor this book, I can't believe this guy makes so much money producing this level of quality, He said he spent a month writing it and it shows, not in a good way, He also convinced me that if you hire an editor foryou'll get what you paid for, . . a book with typos and random capitalization, Also I'm amazed at how many times he gave advice to do things he openly admitted he didn't do, I mean I guess the upside is if this guy can do it, anyone can There werepages of reasonably good advice, The otherpages were nonsense, If I had to guess why this guy succeeded I'd say it wasthings, His cover page, his title, and being featured on a newsletter, I'm also very suspicious of all of the positive reviews I'm seeing for this book, You can't argue with success, but I think this won't work for everyone
He even says it himself there's a bit of luck here.
And theupdate basically saysof what he originally recommended is out of date or didn't actually bring him sales,
I think he got really lucky with his covers and getting other items from fiverr as well, There's some gold on there but a lot of scanners as well, And one that point you can get away with less polished covers in nonfiction than fiction,
He did very well with the way he went, can't argue that! But some of that feels like the time he published and some really kinda was luck and determination! Which is great for him!
I think this book proves there's many paths to success for self publishing! But more of less with updates the biggest thing that works for him is paid ads.
And he shares his affiliate link to Mark Dawson's ad course, I already planned on investing in that course so nothing here really blew my mind, But it is at least motivational, Lots of good nuggets
I just skimmed the chapters and found tons of great information, You cannot go wrong with this one, I look forward to taking my time to read everything Si quieres saber cómo conseguir lectores sin importar la calidad de tu libro, puede ser una buena opción.
El autor te explica cómo escribir ficción de forma rápida, rellenando casillas, sin importar el orden y la coherencia interna, También anima a comprar clicks hacia tu web para poner en marcha la maquinaria de ventas, Definitivamente, no es mi estilo, Si no fuera porque estaba incluido en un bundle de libros sobre escritura, ni siquiera lo hubiera leído, En realidad, salvo por el,hecho de que aporta alguna web Interesante, en realidad no dice nada nuevo, Me esperaba más herramientas de marketing Marc Reklau stories his personal adventure from the moment he lost his job until he managed through sheer determination to become an Amazon best seller.
He describes the different stages he went through as a selfpublished writer and also shares tips and information on practical issues like how to edit your book, find cover and so on.
I love success stories. I have five books published myself, and Marc Reklau story is an inspiration for me to keep going and bettering myself in all levels of my life.
Highly recommended. Doesn't practice what it preaches
There's some bits in this book that sound good, but there's also a lot of junk and repetition.
Like, the same exact sentence in different chapters,
Worse, he stresses the importance of a good editor and raves about the genius of his editor, Why is that worse, you may ask
BECAUSE HE HAS CHAPTER NINE TWICE IN A ROW, THE LITERAL SAME CHAPTER, REPEATED,
I could not make this up, There are other typos and redundant bits in it, but after the double chapter nine, all paled in comparison, I

couldn't take it seriously after that, and only finished the book because it was short,
So no, I wouldn't recommend, Clear, brief
It is a clear, brief, copious and easy to understand book, It also provides great examples of resources and action plans to write and publish a successful book, It's useful for every author to read this Perhaps a good book for the beginner, . .
But if you've read a couple of books on this subject, you probably know what this book says already, The biggest thing this book offers is to tell you to get featured on Bookbub, but doesn't really tell how to do that, The author writes that our books don't have to be perfect, then proves it with runon sentences, comma blunders and missing periods, He even refers to the Pulitzer Prize as the Pulitzer "Price"TWO times in one sentence, Then on the next page he actually names his editor and says this person is a genius, Sheessh!
