Grab If A T. Rex Crashes Your Birthday Party Articulated By Jill Esbaum Accessible As Digital

can resist a T, Rex book And this one is super cute, It's a touch longer than I might normally use, but I think the humor and pictures will keep the preschoolers' attention I'm going to try it out next week! DINOSAURS.

Fun pictures, standard but well executed text, I would have enjoyed reading this to my kids but wouldn't have wanted to reread it a lot.
The ending where the kid is nice to the dinosaur seemed a bit sketchy but well meaning, It's OK to be kind to people, but it's also OK to have boundaries! My Thoughts
This is a fun picture book that reminded me of the If You Give A Mouse A Cookie books.
Our party boy is super excited to have a T, Rex crash his party, until the T, Rex causes disaster at every turn, Several of the jokes I feel are more adult centered, and might need explanation, but it is a silly read.
The story is told as a flashback, with the boy warning other kids about what might happen and offering his advice.

The illustrations tell the tale, and are simple, showcasing the story on white backgrounds, The T. Rex is adorable enough that it won't scare kids, but his antics relate his fierceness, My favorite sentence "T. Rex toys disaster". A funny, dinosaur adventure. I give itstars! Imaginative adventure when a trex comes to your birthday party and the things he does that mess things up.
And how to save your presents from his destruction, Really cute picture book story, It reminds me of the picture book, “If You Give a Moose a Muffin, ” but with more words.
Whose that knocking at the door on the very day, hour, and minute of a young boy's birthday party When the boy opens the door a HUGE surprise awaits him.
. . it's a bussize T. Rex holding a present for the birthday boy, What should the little guy do Mmmmmm Invite him in of course, the more the merrier and there's lots of "more" before him to behold.

On the T, Rex's entry the whole flavour of the party changes, The TRex pops the bouncy castle, becomes angry when he can't blow out the candles on the

cake, and breaks the piñata to bits.
Oh my!

The T, Rex ROOOOAAARRS, and stomps and sends his friends away after throwing a tantrum, Then he wants to play with all his lovely gifts, I don't think so mister no way!!! What does one do when you totally have run out of patience

"You'll order him to leave.
He'll stomp and pout and blubber, But you won't care, because you'll, Have. Had. Enough!"

Will the T, Rex leave quietly like he was ordered to do Will he get even more upset and angry and maybe even explode I think the ending will surprise you.
providing a happy ending to the tale for all!

This book is hilarious but the jokes might go over some kiddos heads.
The illustrations are unique making them awkward on some pages and darling on others, A funny story of the chaos of a dinosaur at a birthday party, The kids and adults all got a good laugh out of this one, Would probably try this in a preschool or Kindergarten story time, Um. So, on the surface this is a silly story about how a trex at a party would wreck everything.
But around the third time the narrator speaks disparagingly about the trex's short arms and how he would get angry about not being able to play certain games I had the thought, What if this is a metaphor for a developmentally disabled kid Don't invite them to your party because they're big, uncoordinated and act out.
That took me right out of the story, I'm willing to give the author the benefit of the doubt, that this wasn't their intention, but this doesn't work for me.
Absolutely adorable. Love the clean design colorful images on an allwrite background are easy on the eyes, And, the wording will make little ones chuckle:

, . . a T. Rex is as big as a school bus,
A klutzy CRASHY school bus,

I got my copy of If a T, Rex Crashes Your Birthday Party from Sterling for review and it's one of those rare books that I like so much I'm planning to drag it along the next time I fly to visit my granddaughter.
I know she'll love it, Really cute book about what it would be like if a dinosaur crashed your birthday party, Kids will enjoy this one, "Someone should warn you about a few things, Someone who knows. Like me. "

Kids may think having a T, Rex at their birthday party would be awesome, but the narrator points out a few things that they need to be aware of: T.
Rex is like a klutzy, CRASHY school bus he's never heard of toothpaste he's a close talker he throws tantrums and he never wants to leave.
But if you can put up with all of that and more, a T, Rex can be kind of fun to have around, If a T. Rex Crashes Your Birthday Party, maybe you forgot to invite him, If you decide to let him in, Be. Very. Careful.

If a T, Rex Crashes Your Birthday Party is a very comical picture book for birthday boys and girls, and dinosaurloving children.
But T. Rex is no Puff. He is rude, pushy, cranky, and funnyespecially his arms just do not say that around T, . At first the kids love having T, Rex at the party, but then his true personality starts to, . .

little arms, you know this, is. the. best. While this is a story about a TRex coming to your party, any parent knows that there is often one of those kids who is like the TRex.
Even when the party is for someone else, things become about the TRex, with his/her inabilities, dislikes of certain things, and a desire to be in the heart of it all even though the presents aren't for him/her.

Spoiler Alert:
In the end, TRex had a great time and is full of love and kindness.
That's why you invite him/her back the next year,

Theme: Howto books, Sort ofnd person POV, also big concepts, Well, since the title describes exactly what this book is about, I will say that if you liked Tea Rex by Molly Idle and Rex Wrecks It by Ben Clanton, give this book a try.
Pretty hilarious! And I always love Dasha Tolstikova's illustrations, What might happen if a trex crashes your birthday party, It might be fun at first, but you'll soon find out that what a huge mistake it would be to invite him in.
But when he scares all your guests away and you finally order him out, you might just change your mind and invite him to your next party.
This was a cute book, I thought it was a little open ended though it wasn't a bad ending, Fun book for dinosaur fans and birthday party story fans,
The kids enjoyed it,
Clever, adorable and humorous, Love it! A fun kidfriendly book that offers plenty of opportunity to talk about manners, temper tantrums, polite behavior, and friendships.
Adorable how to have a T, Rex at your party without disasters book, Fun! Cute book for kids!! Loved it!! It can happen to anyone! Make sure you have a plan! You never know what will happen when a T.
Rex
crashes your birthday party, Sure, you'll be super excited when he turns up at your door, But then hell stomp. Hell ROAR. Hell look at you as if hes wondering how you taste with a little mustard, In the end, though, you just may find yourself asking him to come back next year! This delightfully whimsical picture book has a fun twist kids will love.
I was considering this one for a Birthdaythemed Storytime, but while the story itself is really cute, I didn't love the illustrations.
