am all over the place about this book, It need some serious editing, but the ideas and adventures expressed in it really made me think, The "you" and the "me" in the title are the author herself, This is an account of many solo trips she took throughout the world as a teenager and young woman,
If only I could conquer my fears and travel solo as an older woman, what adventures would be out there

I loved traveling to different places in this book while sitting in my couch, It was very motivational and made me want to travel to some of these places and experience them myself, Slow read

Took me a while to get into this book, title to me is misleading.
I did however enjoy reading the travel stories, even though they were at times packing to keep my attention, I received If You Love Me, Come Find Me through a Goodreads Giveaway,

After reflecting on my reading of If You Love Me, Come Find Me only one word strikes my mind.
It's different. I don't believe I've read a book like this before,

I found myself struggling as I tried to find the motivation to finish reading but I pushed myself and made it to the end.
I believe the reason that I had such a difficult time finishing If You Love Me, Come Find Me is likely because this book doesn't fit my personal tastes.
I did slightly enjoy seeing the life story of someone finding their way in the world, and I could see that being a popular reason for someone to pick up this book.
It just isn't the book for me though, One girl's moment in time of finding herself and her joie de vivre in all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world.
A comingofage memoir entailing joy, love, friends, family, mental health, travel, food, and the occasional bad joke and/or decision.
If I could give more to this book, I would have, From the first few pages, I wondered if Dempsey had taken pages from my own travel journals, It made my heart full to read of someone who had the same experiences that I have had, being a single girl traveling the world.
I have also experienced the magic of a panini and extrasugary coke in Rome, I have seen the fairy dust sprinkled all over Europe, If you haven't traveled internationally, especially solo, it's hard to explain to other people the feelings that it gives you Dempsey hits the nail on the head.
She has even given me a few new places to put on my travel bucket list, This is easily one of my new favorite books, I am thousands of things, Im a morally conservative, socially liberal ENFJ, though technically Im ANFJ, but personality types have not caught up to my very specific species of ambiversion yet.
