Ive been telling my husband how amazed I am to discover something valuable on almost every page.
I guess Ive intrigued him because hes reading the book now,
Although a Bible study has been made to go along with the book, the book itself is not set up as a Bible study.

However, almost every page contains one or more scripture, Im not talking about a light mention either, Its discussed in detail and in an easytounderstand way,
Dr. Jeremiah also shares interesting information about biblical times, One example he uses when discussing David and Goliath, is about the ancient armies and their three kinds of warriors: the cavalry, the infantry, and the slingers.

He includes comments from experts such as those from a ballistics expert with the Israeli Defense Forces who did tests showing how a stone could easily knock down a person.

I find side notes like this interesting and educational,
Even though hes published numerous books, this is the first book Ive read written by Dr, David Jeremiah. I find Overcomer to be encouraging and helpful to spiritual growth, The content is presented in a fresh way, My husband is reading it now, When he finishes it, I plan to give it to my teenager to read, And then, I want to read it again, I highly recommend it.
