All my favorite bits: faeries, werewolves, and demons oh my!, Seriously though, all the best aspects of these marvelous worlds blended together with compelling characters and a gorgeous MMF romance, Lovely! Like all of Barbara Elsborg's books, Jay, Dominic, and Holly are a perfect blend of sweet and sexy, The paranormal elements at play never take away from what is the core of the storythree characters in the process of healing themselves, and each other,
Barbara also puts her own unique spin on vampire, werewolf, anf faery lore, making her entire Trueblood series a Do Not Miss for fans of paranormal erotic romance.

It's not easy being a faerie,
Holly would know. She's the laughing stock of Fae, useless at magic and has wings that never cooperate, She can't understand why a highborn faerie she hardly knows would want to marry her because she certainly doesn't want to marry him, The mortal world looks far more enticing,
Being a vampire bites,
Crippled with guilt over his part in the death of his twin, Dominic is estranged from his family, When he rescues an injured werewolf on the run from his pack, he sees a kindred spirit in the damaged outcast,
What use is a werewolf who can't scent or track
Victim of his conniving brother, Jay is viciously attacked by his pack, The wolves might not want him but once he's living with Dominic, they won't leave him alone,
After a night of passion with Dominic and Jay, Holly's ready to move in with them, But their enemies are intent on keeping them apart and the trio of misfits find themselves in a fight for survival, If they can't figure a way through the web of lies and deceit that bind them, they'll lose more than their families, Theyll lose each other.
Starts as all about Dominic amp Jay and sex, then a story comes along, Plenty of laughs, good mystery, Felt Holly was a little gullible, but she's likeable at the same time, New set of characters again, with some tie in to the previous books towards the end, Nice ending. The story is nice, the plot is well written, The three of them are really compatible with each other, but there are unresolved issues and questions that must be answered, like: Why didn't Holly continue to find her sister so that she can help her, What really is a Raedaer, how complicated her powers will be, What will happen in the fae world at the end Why didn't Syren found out what happen to Dominic and his brother, but in the first three books he knows and helps his children when they are in trouble Why didn't Dominic and Rhys don't know about their brothers and sisters, while the first three are all know each other but the twins And others I forgot about it.
Gonna read the next book that it may answer some of my questions,/actually. Contains Spoilers
I really enjoyed this book, Yes, this book has a lot of sex scenes considering its about a triad partnership they dont take over the story since its that good, This book is not as fast paced as the lastbooks but since it haspeople povs its got more ground to cover, Dom trueblood vampire and Jay werewolf have been together since Dom saved Jays life when he was being attached by his pack, Dom gets invited to a anything goes sex party, Jay has trouble shifting, has lost his sense of smell and has panic attacks since he was attacked and hates crowds but agrees to go to the party for Doms sake.
At the party the host and a couple of the guests try and separate Dom and Jay but Dom refuses, Dom notices something is off but has a feeling that they cant leave so they go outside and chase each other through the grounds, When theyve caught each other and are wrestling for dominance under a tree the portal to Faerie Holly Fae whose spying on them leans over to far to get a better look and falls on top of them.
This story has a lot of twists I wasnt expecting, Id recommend this book, series and author to others, Really loved this one. The main characters are good and it was an entertaining read, would love to find out more of Holly's family dynamic with the demon grandfather so funny, Would totally read a follow up book that was just about these three and how Holly
learns to use more of her powers, the possible baby/babies and how Jay becomes alpha of his pack, etc.
. . Now don't get me wrong some of these questions may be answered in the next book that i haven't read yet, but i am on it: I also want to know more about the demon that she freed from Malin can totally see him coming up in another book! I guess I am alone n my opinion.
. . I was amazed the same person wrote this after reading the others, . I even double checked to make sure this was not the first, I finished , the whole time in disbelief, . . It was ok. I didn't like all the different points of views but it was interesting, I hope there's going to be a book where she and Jo meet, The book was good and I'm glad to have read it because I was in an emotional uproar over tattling on a housemate for having a BOY IN HER ROOM.
After reflection, I feel okay about it because I tried to talk to her about it before and she swore it wouldn't happen again, . . and it did. Especially since the landlady's rules say no males on the premises and I live here BECAUSE of that rule I'd been raped in another sharedliving situation and freak the fck out when men are in my home.
So, yeah.
Anyway, I liked this book because it took my mind off of the situation, I probably would have liked it less under other circumstances because the book was about evenly divided between plot and sex and usually I like that ratio skewed a bit farther towards the plot side.
. . But yay escapism!!
Dominic and Jay make an interesting couple, Both laden with guilt from their past they were made to be there for each other, Oh and one is a vampire and the other a werewolf,
At a mysterious party, they meet the woman to complete them, Holly, She is a faerie that makes a mess of everything can't fly, do simple spells and gets lost easily,
Their lives are intertwined in faerie politics, werewolf harassment, and a devious plot for revenge, Through it all their love seems to be the greatest power,
This was a delicious read, Elsborg has created an incredible world of fantasy right here in the UK, Her characters are so lovable and endearing, And the woman is the best erotic writer I have ever read, Any reader that gets frustrated with a hot scene ending too quick, should definitely have a read, Whether you are a smoker or not, you'll be lighting up afterwards! Barbara Elsborg lives in Kent in the south of England, She always wanted to be a spy, but having confessed to everyone without them even resorting to torture, she decided it was not for her, Volcanology scorched her feet. A morbid fear of sharks put paid to marine biology, So instead, she spent several years successfully selling cyanide, After dragging up two rotten, ungrateful children and frustrating her sexy, devoted, wonderful husband who can now stop twisting her arm she finally has time to conduct an affair with an electrifying plugged in male, her laptop.
Her books feature quirky heroines and bad boys, and she hopes they are as much fun to read as they are to write, .
