Fetch Alls Fair In Love And Debauchery (The Inheritance Clause #4) Presented By Samantha Holt Publication

spent a wonderful afternoon reading this delightful book and enjoyed it just as much as the otherbooks in the series.
In the firstbooks, we see Seth, Angel and Minerva doing their part in completing their tasks in order to get their part of the inheritance left my their grandfather.
This time it's Theo's turn and his task is to return to his family's estate, Eastbrook Manor, and spendmonths there.
Easy peasy, right

Theo hasn't been to the estate inyears because of bad memories of having spent time there with his late wife who practically depleted all his money.
In fact, he had completely forgotten that he had left their ward, Lucy, behind! Lucy is nowyears old and has become a woman, which he can't fail but notice!! She has practically been running the household in these lastyears and never wants to leave it, she loves her home so much.
She is worried that he has come back to marry her off and make her move away.
She had a childhood crush on him years back but now that soon turns to love.
They come together so sweetly and naturally, I thought it was quite beautiful,

This completes Samantha Holts series on the Templeton siblings, Theo goes home to fulfill his love ask and comes upon a water nymph in the form of his forgotten ward Lucy.
She he has grown into a woman he is attracted to and he doesnt know what to do with that.
Once again the author has done a great job of taking readers on a light hearted and fun journey with her story.
Lucy and Theo dance around each other until they can no longer resist the feelings they have to each other.
She also then brings all the siblings together to tie up all the loose ends and remind the readers of what each task was and how it was accomplished.
Well done!

The fourth story in the Templeton inheritance series is about Theo, the oldest sibling and the Marquis of Eastbrook.
His task is to go home to Eastbrook Manor, the familys ancestral home, He must stay two months and plan and host a ball at to celebrate the successful completion of all the tasks.
It has been over five years, but Theo will go back and complete his task, He hopes his inheritance will bring the estate back from the near financial ruin his wife caused before she died.

When Theo arrives at Eastbrook, he must become reacquainted with his ward, Lucy Jameson who has grown up to be an intelligent, beautiful young woman.
She is outgoing, friendly, and happy, She knows and loves the estate and the house and never wants to leave, She has taken good care of the house and estate in his absence, As they spend time together, Theo fights his growing attraction to her, Lucy loves him and wishes he felt the same about her,

Their two months is up, Did they complete their tasks Will Theo host a celebration ball or a consolation party Which, if any, of the siblings found love This book, this entire series, is engaging and heartwarming.
The characters are great, different, but with one trait in common, devotion to family, This story is wellpaced and easy to read, full of adventure, humor, and romance, The epilogue is just right to bring the series to a close, I enjoyed Theos story and the others and recommend the book and the series, Nice storyline and plot. Characters are well described and they develop nicely through the story, My free opinion. Thanks.
This book is part of The Inheritance Clause series, I had already read Minerva's story, so I was familiar with the premise, This series does have an excellent concept, by the way, Their grandfather has died, and rather than will his heirs their money directly, he requires his grandchildren to perform a task to his lawyers satisfaction.
These tasks are highly individual and meant to challenge the particular person, Clearly, the grandfather has known each grandchild well and wants each of them to find hidden strengths and talents.
Theo, the hero of this book, appears to have the most straightforward task, He just needs to go back and stay at his country manor house, the seat of his marquessate.
He hasn't been back since his wife's death it is filled with too many bad memories.

Go back he goes, as he wants his inheritance to prop up his foundering estate and keep it out of the hands of a reviled relative.
His ward, Lucy, who has lived on the estate this whole time, is no longer the young teenager he remembers she is now a young woman.
In his absence, she has gradually taken on the role of mistress of the house, not just handling household details but taking care of matters on the estate along with the steward, settling disputes among the tenants and the like.
She is determined to stay in the house not knowing any better, she fears he is there to marry her off.
She loves his home and wants to stay there and remain in charge of it until he remarries.

The author did a fantastic job showing Lucy's motivations and fears, She has no clue that Theo now sees her as an attractive woman, He's trying to distance himself from her because he doesn't feel his attraction towards her appropriate, but she sees his actions as disapproval of her and what she has done for his home estate.
She wants to do nothing more than impress him with all that she's done so that he'll let her stay.
Her insecurities, especially because she is doing such an excellent job of running his estate, are endearing.

Will Theo accept his changed feelings towards his ward and let her know Will they continue to grow as he comes to know her How long will she fear being married off and sent away

I enjoyed the previous book in this series and found this a delightful read as well.
If you enjoy Regency romance, you might find this bookand the seriesas delightful as I do.

I received a free copy of this book, but this did not affect my review.

Read all my book reviews at sitelink readingfanaticreviews. com Synopsis:

The Templetons have inherited a fortune but there's a catch, . .

Theo, the Marquis of Eastbrook, has the easiest of tasks, At least the rest of his family thinks so, Return to his entailed estate and remain there for two months, It should be simple
But he has refused to set foot there since the death of his wife.

Theo will do what he must for his family, Its just, well, he almost forgot his ward still resides there,
Lucy Jameson is all grown up, Very grown up. So much so that it is becoming distracting, Not only is she attractive but shes determined to show him how much shes been looking after his house.
The indomitable Lucy can run a household with all the talent of a woman twice her age apparently.

Every moment around her is like tormentknowing he cannot, must not touch her,
These two months were going to be challenging enough and now theyll be even harder knowing hes attracted to his warda young woman who should definitely be off limits.

My Thoughts:

Not as exciting as the first three books,

I liked the whole series however this final book just seemed predictable,
I was not enamored by the characters and not at all surprised by them,
Books one and three were the best of this series,
This final book gets,of.from me.
Sorry guys but this could have been much better,

All's Fair in Love and Debauchery by Samantha Holt is book Four in The Inheritance Clause Series.
This is the story of Theo, the Marquis of Eastbrook and Lucy Jameson, I have read and Loved the other books, but feel you can make this a standalone book if you wish to do so.

Each family member has had to complete a task receive their inheritance, In this book Theo has to complete his task, which is to stay at Eastbrook Manor.
Theo swore never to return to that manor, But he is in debit from his wife's spending before she died and not to mention his siblings wanting him to complete the task.
But what he did forget was the ward he left there, . Lucy. Lucy has taken the manor under control and worked as the mistress of the running of it and hopes to prove that.

This was a quick sweet romance, . . enjoyed it.
This is the fourth book in the Inheritance Clause series but also works well as a standalone novel.
But you really should read the other three books too they are fantastic! This fourth book is another charming historical romance this time involving the oldest sibling, Theo, the Marquis of Eastbrook.
Once again the author has created a wonderful tale full of romance and hope, with two engaging characters I fell in love with immediately.
Theo is a fine gentleman, steadfast and serious and a stickler for the rules, but being the Marquis leaves him with little or no time for frivolity.
Lucy Jameson, his almostforgotten ward, has grown into a beautiful, smart and intelligent woman, with a joy for life that is contagious.
When fate throws them together after years apart, the sparks fly! Their journey is full of frustrations, misunderstandings, secret desire, a touch of humour and, of course, steamy romance.
The authors talented writing once again brings this era to life and takes us on another delightful romantic romp.
Absolutely brilliant!

Minus :
Theo's relation with the ward is akward to me i couldn't shake it off my mind

Plus:
The fire in the house was a surprising plot twist because i thought something would happen during the ball they organized

And the book was short and i like short books especially ones with little to no plot At last! Theo's story! The last of the Templeton siblings who has to carry out the terms of the will from his grandfather, or all of them lose their inheritance.
It seems simple but really it seems Theo has not been doing his duty and taking responsibility for Eastbook Manor because of his bad experiences there.
Now, he had to visit and stay for two months and host a ball as the will stated and that
Fetch Alls Fair In Love And Debauchery (The Inheritance Clause #4) Presented By Samantha Holt Publication
meant spending time with his young ward he had not seen in five years.

But therein lies the rub, Lucy is not a young girl anymore and has been managing the manor house and truly loves the home.
She thinks he is coming to marry her off and she hopes he sees he needs her there.
But Theo has a big surprise when he sees Lucy and realizes she is now a grown woman.

As they spend time together, he may decide he cannot let her marry anyone else!
A delightful novella that unfortunately ends this four book series that was so enjoyable! Samantha Holt always writes such entertaining stories that I have a hard time putting down until the end!.
