I cannot think of a more comprehensive critique on the subject of beverage alcohol than this book, The authors approach the subject from every angle: societal, health, financial, Biblical, historical, etc, all with the same conclusion: alcohol is dangerous, a drug, and unnecessary, For the Christian church in America, it is very sad that this issue much like rock music, tattoos and conservative dress has been abandoned, especially since the authors prove beyond argument that the Scriptures cannot be used to approve of drinking intoxicants.
If every pastor in the country read this book and preached on this subject, it might just start a revival, Jack Van Impe was an American televangelist, .
