Find Love Me Like You Mean It (Love Me Romcom, #2) Narrated By Laura Burton Shown In Document
sex scenes. no character development. no pacing. no juiciness. not even a kiss beyond some chaste pecks im a whore, i need more sustenance otherwise i wither and die, I'm totally and absolutely in love with Emma and Aiden,
Such a beautiful story and such a strong and true friendship,
The innocent "little" white lie that Emma tells her frienemy Shelly takes such a dimension that there seems to be no other option than to follow the plan and get married for real.
So many would suffer if they didn't, The families, Aiden's future work, the children, the hospital, . . What a mess!
But no marriage should start with a lie, And she really likes him but doesn't want to risk their friendship, What if he doesn't feel the same
So, she ends up using the wedding plans to help her best friend and give her a dream wedding.
She just hopes Aiden can forgive her, . .
Don't miss out on this beautiful story of friends to lovers, . .
I received a free ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion I liked this book, The story was well written and flowed beautifully, The characters were well defined within the story and they had such great chemistry, I loved the ending. If you like the works of this wonderful author, then this book is a mustread, me like you mean it
Oh my word! What a hilarious book, couldn't stop laughing throughout the book,
Well written and full of fun and with a beautiful ending,
I recommend this
book to everyone who loves a comedy story This book in a word Cute,
It was cute, . . and that's about it.
I liked the characters, which kept me reading, but that ending was a little bland, In my case, I prefer romances that have a little spiciness NOT ONLY characterwise, per se
but also plotwise, It was very neat, which kept it flowing, but I didn't get any sort of testing of the limits for my characters,
Other than that, cute idea and adorablyexecuted, Absolutely loved this story! I laughed so much and the pacing was absolutely perfect, I highly recommend this book, "Love me like you mean it" is a sweet love story about two best friends that do not want to make a move forward and lose their friendship if one of them does not wish to be in a romantic relationship with the other.
They are troubled and there is a lot of lies, deceit but in the ending love wins them all, Theres a lot of goodwill and friendship also involved, Lovely story and entertaining!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review, Emma Aiden lies
Readers Notes:
this is book one of a series, but the others do not need to be read in order for this story to feel complete
there are a few things said that the other character thinks of the wrong way, but that wrong way is not explained.
Both of them just get quiet and when the speaking character catches up to where the other characters mind went, they blush and more completely say what they meant
:
I really liked how this author portrayed the start of the fake relationship! Having the parents assume who the husband to be was funny.
Especially when you then find out that everyone kinda knew that the two fake fiancés liked each other, but neither of them thought that was the case despite being told a few times.
I didnt really get into the story straight away and I felt something was missing in the beginning of the story by the time I was finishing it Im not sure what so I took off a star because of that.
But overall, it was a cute and sweet story of two friends faking a relationship even though they already liked one another!
This story starts with Emma making a bet with her employer that backfires and gets her fired.
In order to make herself feel better, she goes to try on wedding dresses at the bridal shop, Unfortunately that day gets worse when her high school frenemy comes in and asks her if she is also getting married, In order to save face, Emma tells a lie by saying that she is, Which, by the time she gets home, is plastered all over social media by her frenemy, And then is told to her parents by the people in the small town back where she grew up, Oops!
Going to her best friend Aiden, Emma asks that he come with her to her parents to let them know about the lie.
But when they get there, her parents are so happy that its Aiden that neither of them have the heart to tell them otherwise.
So they go on with their charade and each time they get ready to back out of the lie, something happens to pull them back in.
Will they ever get out of the lie Emma weaved Fabulous romantic comedy! Can two best friends pretend to get married Emma and Aiden have been friends for years.
They have each other's backs, They tell each other their triumphs and sorrows, Emma loves trying on wedding dresses, then her frenemy from High School shows up, Who is the lucky guy When is the wedding Emma starts lying and then it snowballs out of control, She doesn't even have a boyfriend, Enter Aiden. Then Aiden goes with the flow and his new client thinks he's getting married, Find out what happens in this hilarious romantic comedy, Happy Reading!
I received a free ARC copy in exchange for an honest review, I loved this story!! I can't believe all the lies and how everything turned out, I really thought they were going to go through with their extravagant wedding, but I like that they gave it to Katie, I thought it was sweet how Katie, and Aiden's and Emma's parents all knew they had feelings for the other, Even Bill and Jane. So sweet.
I received an advanced copy of this book from the author to read, I am leaving my honest review by my own choice, This romantic comedy was such a fun book to read with a great storyline and wonderfully created characters that made this book a very enjoyable read that I couldn't put this book down until I finished reading the very last page! Love Me Like You Mean It is a zany, funny, contempory romance.
Laura Burton has written another outstanding book, Emma has had the worst day of her life and somehow in the mist of her crazy bad day, she gets a fake engagement to Aiden.
Although Emma and Aiden try to let others know the truth, their "engagement" become more and more real, What follows is crazy funny fun! The characters are realistic and authentic and the pace is perfect, Be prepared to laugh out loud! I received an ARC for my honest review, Love Me Like You Mean It is a wonderful way to spend the day, Making The Lie Truthful
Aiden and Emma have been friends for years who have feelings for each other, However, they keep their relationship platonic, as they each believe their feelings wont be reciprocated, Fortunately and unfortunately, Emma tells a lie to save face, which puts them on a rollercoaster ride that forces them to together,
This beautifully written story, shows how sometimes we dont see what is right in front of us, until someone else points it out to us.
The author made the characters come alive with funny and unbelievable moments, which were combined with cringeworthy scenes, that will leave you in shock.
This is a book that you will definitely want to read,
I received an ARC of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review, This is a brilliant read,
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start,
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable,
Great drama and romance with wonderful world building,
Can't wait to read what the author brings out next,
Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book this is my voluntary and honest review,
If this story were a person, it would be my kookie best friend! I lol lol loved this upbeat take on the “fake it till you make” romance trope!
I received a review copy of this book, and I am leaving a voluntary review.
This was a sweet read that involved a lie gone horribly wrong, When Emma is caught trying on a wedding dress by her high school nemesis, she spins a tale about a romantic wedding to a man madly in love with her.
What happens next is a testament to the lengths people will go to keep up appearances,
Emma and Aiden find that they have to keep lying to protect the first lie isn't that a lesson for us In the midst of it, they have to confront their real feelings for each other.
I like the fact that they eventually came clean but wonder how some of the resulting fallout would be resolved as this was not mentioned in the story.
I also wish they had opened up about their feelings for each other earlier so we could witness more of their romance onscreen.
Overall, this was a fun read that had some funny and endearing moments,
I received an advanced reader's copy from the publishers through Reading Cave a positive review was not required, .
