Get Ice Cold Boss Fabricated By Olivia Hayle Mobi
was good enough and I really enjoyed !!! This book was beautiful, Well written and just amazing, Faye and Henry I read this book before knowing it was a series cause its not a stand alone,
Faye and Henry power couple
From ruthless architectural integrity to hysterical drunk job application cover letter this book had it all.
Faye and Henry's relationship starts professionally but does not end there, Will the spark that ignites the moment they met be the beginning of a new way of life for Henry Or will it be the one thing that causes Faye to lose everything she has worked hard for With wonderful character connections, beautifully written storyline and a hook that keeps the reader locked into the book this was another awesome read from Olivia Hayle.
Ms. Hayle has a knack for creating honest and true characters that the reader cannot help but fall in love with, stars!
I unexpectedly loved this book, Honestly, this book gives me old Vi Keeland vibes, but, . . better I appreciated the steamy burn and the strong banter and characterization, I think this book caught my interest over so many other boss/personal assistant books due to the fact that Henry actually respects Faye and treats her as an equal throughout the entirety of the book.
Also, I adored Henry so much, I loved that he was an alpha, but also constantly treated Faye with respect and never got creepy Not sure why but I tend to think the boss types in other stories give off stalker vibes.
Maybe that's just me. But nope, not Henry! Thankfully, When the MC asks for space, he respects her wishes, Honestly, Henry was a true king, I already miss him : le falta punch Get it here:

I loved the chemistry and the passion, some scenes killed me! So glad I found this book, I enjoy a slowburn, age gap and office epic romance its my favorite cliche/It was a decent read but i felt like the beginning was so rushed.
My fave part was how the dad liked how Faye stood up for Henry but other than that the book was okay, Not the best but not the worst either Olivia Hayle has this amazing ability to introduce us to characters who we initially think are one thing then show us how they aren't.
It's an amazing skill! This could have been another workplace romance where there is a power imbalance and it leads to unsavoury things, but it wasn't, well sort of! You just need to read it, ok Tãaao sem graça, casal com pouca química e um grande nada demais Quite nice read.
NO "HE is so hot, my pantys are on fire", "She is so sexy hot secretary, i wanna fuck her all day long".
BULLSHIT, there wasnt any of this crap!
Quite good relationshipt, yes, she was his assistant, he felt for her, . . but he was very respectful tillof the book, . when they did have sex finally,
Will read more books from this author, it was my first book and i liked it a lot,
Safe read, no other person's scenes,
Didn't feel the chemistry or the connection between the leads! Grumpy boss meets his match
Another fabulous Olivia Hayle story this time with Henry and Faye.
When Faye gets drunk and writes the most insulting job application letter ever, she doesnt expect to get called for interview, She definitely doesnt expect to get a job with the very wealthy and goodlooking Henry,
Of course, sparks fly between the two of them but they both understand that they shouldnt cross that line the boss should never begin a relationship with his employee.
But they cant seem to help themselves, Conversations stray into the personal arena, Working late seems to become more enjoyable, When Henry asks her to pretend to be his date for a wedding All bets are off,
But is sleeping with the boss a great idea
I loved this one, Its a little steamier than the others in the series and I think thats because Henry is so damn grumpy and intense!
Henry is a grumpy, eldest son who seems to never enjoy life.
When the stubborn, fiery Faye jumps into his life, suddenly his world is unpredictable and offaxis you know hes going to fall for her or fire her.
As with all Olivia Hayle, the conflict is minimal and the angst is low, Its all about the slow fall into love between the billionaires and the women that attract them I adore her work, The added bonus of this being a big family series means we can keep revisiting the couples that came before which is a lovely place to be.
I really enjoyed this one, The relationship was so mature and real, Refreshing to see couples not jumping into sex right off the bat,
But the H was in no way ice cold like the title suggests, Hes ruthless. Hes my new boss.
And hes used to getting what he wants,
Im drunk when I send my job application to Henry Marchand,
“Its not like youre going to consider hiring me anyway, you elitist, ”
Yepthats actually what I write, Excuse me while I start tunneling to China,
When he summons me for an interview, Im floored, But Im also unemployed, so I say yes, Yes, absolutely, yes. He offers me the position of his personal assistant,
Is it the job I want No, But his firm is brilliant, and Im determined to work my way to the top, Nothing will stand in my way, not even an inconvenient attraction to my new boss,
Hes competitive, ambitious, harshly goodlooking, His new favorite sport is challenging memy limits, my wits, The chemistry between us soon sizzles and burns, Lines get blurred. Boundaries are crossed.
Hes not as cold as he seems,
And he wants me, You know, I try to avoid books with titles like this one, The stories are unoriginal, they always and I mean always feature an imbalance of power, Meaning they elevate the male to superior status over the female, Certain tropes in romance are so recycled I'm shocked there aren't more complaints about plagiarism, Or misogyny.
But I digress,
This book one had a decent blurb, but it was a bit of a surprise that I actually liked it enough to read past the sample excerpt.
This was actually a story with a plot instead of an instalust shagathon, It's a slowburn with enough UST to ratchet up the anticipation without overwhelming the plot or making the characters appear shallow, The writer did not use sex scenes to fill pages, but instead used the space to develop the characters and tell their story, elements that are hard to come by these days.
So, the hero, Henry, was a wee bit inconsistent in the very beginning, His perspective made the whole 'Ice Cold' idea seem disingenuous, Because he wasn't that guy,
But perhaps that's just me, I rarely feel dualPOV is necessary or even helpful, I need my heroes to be enigmatic and I much prefer experiencing things through the heroine only, because that's
how we experience others in real life.
We aren't privy to their every thought or motivation, I experience a story better in singlePOV, but it's hard to find these days,
Personal preference notwithstanding, Henry was likeable, if not particularly charismatic,
The big surprise was the heroine, Faye, I really liked her a lot, Kudos to the writer for creating a strong, smart and grounded female lead with class, who didn't have her brains between her legs, She was great, the perfect combo of beauty, brains and ambition without being bitchy, manipulative or slutty, Nice job.
She and Henry were an excellent match, Through no fault of her own she'd been fired from her job of five years and essentially blacklisted in her chosen field, Henry hired her for a position she was woefully overqualified for, but he never lorded it over her, The imbalance of power one expects in these stories was thankfully absent, Henry saw she was brilliant, He respected her talent and intelligence and knew she'd gotten a raw deal, Taking a chance on her turned out to be lifechanging for both of them,
The storyline was pretty simple but wellexecuted and easily kept my interest, There was no OTT drama, which was another plus, I liked that the push and pull of their mutual attraction was equal and they both admitted they were at a disadvantage, That attraction was a little forbidden, and a lot inconvenient for two such careerdriven people, but it was fun to watch them try to navigate it.
So why only a,
I am pretty tough with ratings, no question, but this was a solidfor me through most of the story, However, I was knocked back by the 'dirty talking Alpha' routine in the bedroom, No secret that I'm not a fan, But in this case it just felt out of character for both of them, It wasn't a lot, but it diminished the story for me just a little, So, I lowered my rating to a,.
My personal preference doesn't matter though, because this is still a pretty good book, It's not too light and not too angsty, The characters are likeable and have a genuine connection, similar interests and goals, They are very much equals, I think anyone who likes office romances will enjoy this book, And now that I know what to expect from this writer I am interested in reading more from her, .
