As with all Lonely Planet guides, this book is informative, helpful, honest, and witty, I recommend using Lonely Planet guides anytime you're traveling somewhere new, One of the few lonely planet books that has something for every price point, I normally dont like their books because they tend to be written for an audience traveling on a shoestring budget.
I abhor low budget travel, But this book contains recommendations for travelers looking for an authentic, adventurous, nonall inclusive experience as well as those who just want to rest and eat somewhere warm.
I like my Lonely Planet guides, and this is no exception, Jamaica is a small island, so it covers pretty much all there is to offer, and it gave a really good expectation before going there.
If you're familiar with Lonely Planet, you know, I read these like other people do novels, Traveling is impossible right now and in real life pretty stressful for me, but reading about it satisfies that desire somewhat.
