By far the most egregious is the support of the "theory" of an ether that serves as a medium for the conveyance of thoughts from one brain to another.
The author claims that there is "compelling evidence" never cited or referenced, of course that "thought vibrations" hang around this ether perpetually, and that they are the source of those unexplained thoughts that pop into your head.
Honestly, this contention bothers me more than the constant arguments for the power of prayer and the necessity of instilling your trust in an allpowerful Creator.


My favorite moment of the book is the end of the first chapter, where Dr, Kenneth McFarland is praised several times, What the book fails to mention is that McFarland was superintendent of the Topeka, Kansas school system leading up to the famed Supreme Court case Brown v.
Board of Education, and that McFarland had rejected prior calls by the NAACP to integrate the school, Not only that, but McFarland was forced to resign his post when a number of claims of misappropriated school funds by his office came to light.

It was my first book of Napoleon Hill and it has totally sucked me in to the author, I am very happy I picked this book randomly from the book store and it was such a good surprise, This book is not about manipulating people, it's about helping others get what they want so that you can attain the things you want: a concept I can believe in.
This book is not just about how to sell yourself to the mind of others, it's about how to form thinking habits that draw in others because of a positive mental attitude and mindset to do more than what is required of you.
I have studied this book extensively and I plan to return to it regularly, I highly recommend this book for the openminded dreamers of the world, Napoleon Hill may have been a conman, and this book is not devoid of moments that led me to question the universal nature of his claims, but Succeed and Grow Rich Through Persuasion does offer insight into the rhetoric of business and how a person can orient themselves towards success.
Napoleon Hill classics in learning on how to deal with people in business, They can get pretty intense and really must be read with a grain of salt at times to as to not go off the deep end.
However, you'll find yourself referencing back to these books over and over again, They make a real impression that won't leave you easily, no matter which direction life takes you,
