I have never studied semantics or linguistics, This is another outstanding book by Nida coauthored by Tabor, I highly recommend it, even for those who are not Bible translators, Every student of the Scriptures can greatly benefit from a close reading of this text, There is some redundancy from Nida's Towards a Science of Translating, but it is still, IMHO, worth reading them both, Though now overyears old, it still has much to teach us, .
