I pick up an author's first published book, my expectations are lower of course, than if I am picking up a favorite author's new work, However this book far exceeded my original expectations! It is one that is hard to put down once you get into the story unless you aremonths pregnant and exhausted maybe, and even then it's hard!.


There was good character development by the end you'll have your favorites and the author did a great job of being descriptive in a unique way without going overboard.
The only issue I have now is I have to wait for the second book to come out!

If you enjoy a great adventure or are looking for something unique to read, look no further! I was very impressed with this book! Once I started I had a very hard time putting it down!
This is a world about to explode! There are so many unanswered questions and I can not wait to read what will happen next! The characters are exciting and the worlds are amazing! I wish I was a "Royal " and had my own Umbra!
I recommend this book to all for it lets your imagination run wild and the author knows how to keep you on your toes!
