When you're searching for something NEW and DIFFERENT, do youre self a favor and READ THIS BOOK, If F. Scott Fitzgeralds The Great Gatsby had a baby with Charles Bukowskis Erections, Ejaculations, Exhibitions, and General Tales of Ordinary Madness, it could easily be Asymmetrical Woman Respectfully This stream of consciousness tale is stimulating to say the least, incredibly thoughtprovoking at its very best.
ITS UNEXPECTED amp THOROUGHLY ENJOYABLE, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! The book was excellent, It fulfilled my two main requirements for a good read, It was very, very wellwritten and very compelling, I had hoped to finish it in a weekend but, no problem, it was hard to stop reading, I discovered that the book jacket blurbs and description of the book on Amazon were completely accurate, without exaggeration.

I have had a lot of experience with women who had undeserved low selfesteem, but no one who understood herself with the intelligence and insight that Alix, the central character, has about herself.
Alix thinks she is worthless and, yet, worth everything, Her analytical mind knows she is special, but her low selfimage is very deepseated, What feels right about this, is that she is fully aware of the contradiction, Lesser people who have no problem with selfesteem, look at Alix and her life and wonder, how can she not see herself as we do This book illuminates that seeming paradox.

Asymmetrical Woman has the compelling qualities of a pageturner, is very wellwritten, always surprising when I was two pages from the end, I still hadnt a clue how it would end, often illuminating.
The description of the book on Amazon is accurate, If you are not offended by explicit sexual descriptions and fantasies, read it, I have no interest in reading gratuitous, titillating sex, In this case, however, the sexual fantasies and descriptions are integral to understanding Alix, Knowing Alix and understanding her is what the book is about, and getting to know her is a very rewarding experience.
That could not have happened without the steamy sex, A different kind of story Alix, a wealthy housewife/mother/spouse is unhappy in her marriage and stressed out from trying to deal with her kids, husband and possibly starting a new business after leaving her old law firm for her family and trying to start a new one.
She develops Bell's Palsy in her face and doesn't know how to deal with it all, especially after catching up with an old flame from her childhood.
Although I enjoyed the story and the difference in other books about the usual, I kept waiting for a climax.
I did not appreciate the ending, I think I didn't even get past, The MC is so disturbed I was confused and slightly disgusted and decided not to waste my time on this.
I am never without an audiobook, I am not a reader, When this book was recommended to me, my first question, naturally, was whether it came in

audio, When I saw that it didn't, I wasn't eager to read it, as the last book I read and loved, I never finished.
That was over ten years ago, Because of the enthusiastic recommendation coming from someone who knows me well, I decided to give it a try.
The first night I read before bed, went to sleep, and got up a few hours later to keep reading.
Several other nights I stayed up way later than I should have because I couldn't put it down, I was hooked on every word, The author's writing style was easy and her characters intriguing, I wanted to know more, With every word, I was excited as I learned more and more, The only disappointment I had was that there was not another book following the main character, Alix, that I could immediately pick up.
Alix was funny, relatable, and wild, I enjoyed this well written book more than I have enjoyed a book in a long time, Highly recommend. sitelink post a comment.
