really thought there would be stories about putting people under anesthesia, I didnt care for all the restaurant stories, What has that got to do with the main topic For me, some of the explanations of medical terms were a bit complicated for me to follow.
Gives you insight into the medical field and a greater respect for doctors while also being funny, His love for food was evident and enjoyed how he worked that into his book, Sometimes this guy is very funny, He is a quick wit, I bet, Also a few times I was really grossed out, I like to think that is difficult to do to me and that I dont gross out easily, but he succeeded a few times.
Also I am quite sure he is a closet or semi closet purger! Ah well lots of us do that occasionally.
The book is short and is an easy read, I still have a nagging curiosity about the author but oh well, It is one of those books you can read anywhere in short bursts or all at once in a few hours.
The author is spot on with the idea that anesthesiology is a mysterious occupation, but he also
sheds light on the path it takes to there with a massive dose of humor.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book and I hope the author writes as he settles in to his career, Also liked the food portions, Great comedic insight into the trials and tribulations of anestheology but sucked about going to restaurants, Those could have and should have been omitted and after reading the first two I chose to skip them altogether.
