on Cooter

Crane saw something strange in the woods when he was thirteen, and it ruined his life, Or was it his brother that did that Years later, the two of them camp out together for a night of beer, aliens and redemption.
What they both see and do is going to require a lot of explaining, . . and a couple of extraterrestrial tourists will be turning in their galactic passports,

Cooter is a story of friendship, obsession, cultural misunderstandings and cow parts, Full of laughs, popculture and a few chills, this is a great read that will leave you wanting more, I just could not get into this book, Too much scifi for me,
I laughed out loud, A fun, short read. What a delightful read!

I really love the aliens in this story, First, they have hilarious human names: Hitler and Bon Jovi, Seriously I can imagine how clever these aliens think they are when they get the inspiration from their human history research and their former excursions on Earth.
And their calm reactions to the humans in this book are just so funny, I can't stop laughing while reading those brilliant scenes,

And the humans are also interesting characters, It's actually fun to see two brothers' different reactions when they meet the aliens, What intrigues me the most is their changed attitude: Bedford believes in aliens, but he can hardly be friendly to them considering his awful childhood memories.
He's obsessed with aliens, and his stubbornness ruins everything, On the other hand, Wallace never believes in aliens, He thinks his brother is a pathetic joke when Bedford tells him about the aliens, Then he freaks out when he finally meets the extraterrestrial lifeforms, However, in the end Wallace is the only person who manages to befriend an alien and even learn something about them after

a little chat.
How ironic.

Also, readers who happen to be movie lovers will get all the inside jokes in this story, It's so entertaining to spot those familiar movie quotes when Bon Jovi's translator malfunctions,

If you're a SciFi fan and you're looking for something light and funny to read, you will definitely enjoy this book! It's easy to read and the content is refreshing.
