I liked the introduction and the structure of the book, I liked the references to relevant research, I liked how the book asks questions and brings diverse perspectives on how these may be approached, I will be interested to read an updated edition, I must admit I read this book with a total appreciation of my inability to pay full attention to what I was reading, However, it has made me vaguely more appreciative of how complex the psychology of attention is, which means, ironically enough, I don't feel too bad about my inability to focus on this one.


Actual score.it's a textbook after all well written though, The text provided a nice overview of what is known about attention she reviewed the experimental results that have been found with an attempt to explain their differences she provided an overview of the prominent theories on attention with their strengths and weaknesses there was some comparison to neuropsychology cases the most frustrating part was, despite the amount of information we have, we still know little about attention.
