sweet, and cute. Also marks the only light novel I've been able to read to completion, There's something about the genre, about the way they're written that make me give up after twenty pages.
Making that worse, most likely, is the fact that books don't "flow" that well when they're translated without accounting for making the language work in the target language.

Anyway the basic elements of the story are the same as in the anime, The story itself is very different, though, Honestly, the anime does a better job of telling the story and fleshing out the characters.
We spend a lot of time in Yuuta's head in the book, and almost nothing about Rikka aside from being lonely and Nibutani, whereas in the anime, each is rounded out more fully.

Still, I'm reading the second one now, which says something, I suppose, 相对之下动画萌多这样的女高中生已经不是超有病不治不行那么简单了吧 I can't read much more of this, . . The anime was fantastic, and after reading the light novels, the anime adaption looks like a masterpiece.
bagi yg sudah nonton animenya coba baca novelnya, Banyak karakter original di anime ga ditampilkan disini dan unsur komedinya ga sebanyak di anime tapi dari segi 'romance' banyak lebihnya

worth lah untuk dibaca diwaktu senggang Loved it Wow, I thought the anime was a blatant ripoff of Romeo Tanaka's Aura, but the studio actually made substantial changes to distance themselves from Tanaka's work.
The novel, however, is a blatant cutandpaste, but Torako isn't good enough to make it even a decent knockoff.
It's just guymeetsgirl, they spend time together, minor drama and then love, After watching what became my favorite anime of all time, I had to go and read the light novel.
Every moment that I spent reading the book I had the same reactions as I did

watching the show.
It really is just so cute and romantic and I won't get bored rereading this book every once in a while.
It's unique in its way of using 'eighth grader syndrome' to build the main characters, At times it even reaches out to me, reminding me of my embarrassing moments I've had back in my younger years, which really helps me immerse myself in this story.

Can't wait to read the third and fourth volume when I find the translations for them.

Pues el comienzo de la historia no me mato pero seguiré haber que tal esta.
The book is very different from the anime, each one tells a different story, The book also has fewer characters and it is mostly focused on two main protagonists, The creators of the anime have added more plot lines suitable for animated media, But the book has one romance line without major branches, I can not say it is good or bad, it is just different,

And for the light novel it is good, I can not say how good is the romance part, but I have seen much worse.
The main background for the story is a school, Two protagonists meet there and start their relationship there, They meet other people in the school, but not much, It is good to show the contrast between different types of relationships, though some dialogues are too long.
Well, maybe some of the characters really have this manner of speaking, but I dont think I can have long conversations with real people like this.

Also the good thing is that the story looks real, like it can really happen somewhere in a Japanese school.
I havent found any major plot holes there,

I can recommend this story for anyone who want to look at the original source for the anime, but if you are ready for the different experience.
The book doesnt retell the story from the anime and the anime is only partially based on the book.
You can even thing of the two alternative universes, one is the book universe, and another one is the anime universe.

I can also recommend it for people who like novel about school romances with Japanese flavor.
Or maybe just about school romances, Or about Japanese daily life, .
