love this story. It is engaging and magical, The worlds are well constructed and the characters are well developed, The characters have their own mysteries, and it keeps the reader reading, I wish I had more of the story, but sadly I only have the firstso far, I am looking forward to the next book in the series,
The issues I do have with this book are mostly formatting issues, While better formatted and larger print than the first, it is still formatted with the text flowing into the spine and a large amount of blank space at the top and side.
It just needs to be formatted better,
There is no clear distinction when going from one part of the story to another, just another line spacing between the paragraphs.
This can be confusing as the reader is engrossed in the story, and suddenly the story is focused in another area of the worlds, with other characters.

This story would have receivedfrom me, if it had a professional typesetter, and some mark or other separation when it jumped to another area.


I received this book in a goodreads giveaway, I was not paid for my review, All views are my own, As the City struggles to recover from the result of Éirime's first and only Candidates, it falls to the Immortals and to Aclaí's leadership to fill the gaps left when the Mentor abandoned them.

I was lucky enough to get a peek at the preview proof copy! I'm very excited to read the book, From what I have read, it is great so far,

There seems to be a lot happening in this story, It appears that Eala and the Mentor have had some

sort of falling out, and that the politics and dynamics of the city have changed.
