book is a great holiday read, full of twists and turns, and a great mixture of romance and suspense.
Well written and a great plot that will leave you wanting more, I loved this book! It's a must read, I have a better review to put up in a bit, But read it. You won't be disappointed.
My Real :

Kidnapped Hearts by Cait Jarrod
/Stars

If you like fast paced, full of action and plenty of romance, then this is the book for you.
I absolutely loved it! The first thing to catch my eye is the setting, Fredericksburg,Va, That's really close to where I live and I go there often, so it was really neat to read about places I've been to or heard of.

Now to the book, It was very well written, and it keeps you guessing all the way to the very last page, and no, you won't be able to figure most of it out.
I like that kind of read, keeps me engaged throughout the entire thing, I instantly liked Pamela, what was nice amp different about her was how strong she was, Not the typical damsel in distress, And fiery at that. She may have had her week moments within the story, but they were few and far between,
Then there is FBI Agent Jake Gibson, retired, . . sigh, yet another fictional boyfriend to add to to my evergrowing list, The poor man has been through hell and back, then it happens all over again, You will also meet a bunch of Pamela's other friends know as the Band of Friends, or BOF for short.
They are all likeable and strong, I'm hoping that each and everyone get their own books!
The overall plot of the story without giving away any spoilers is that someone thinks Pamela has stolen barer bonds, and will do anything and hurt anyone to get them.
Then the attacks start and Jake is put on the case to protect her and try to solve the case.
To make things more complicated for them, there are people who want Jake dead from a previous undercover case he was on.
Now the bad guys know Jakes real identity due to a possible leak inside the FBI,
The times, trials and crazy adventures they go through bring Jake and Pamela closer, but can she live and love a man that constantly puts his life on the line, a man that works one of the most dangerous jobs there is Will he ever escape the people who are after him and will use anything, especially Pamela against him to make him week I won't tell, you'll have to read to find out.
But trust me, this book will not disappoint,
There were times I laughed, cried got mad but those are the best books right! The ones that actually bring you to their world and evoke your emotions And fear not my friends, the romance amp love scenes are so very tastefully written, yet so believable.
All in all, yes I would reread this book, recommend it to friends and I will most certainly read more books especially if they are a series extended from this book by this Author.

I was given a free copy of this book for an HONEST review, If it sucked I have no qualms saying so
This is certainly high octane action from start to end.
The author has a very pleasant way of writing and the story flows very nicely, The author has managed to weave in many twists and turns in the plot,

Kidnapped Hearts by Cait Jarrod is a rollercoaster ride of action.
No sooner do the hero and heroine get out of one jam, than they are stuck in another.
There are plenty of bad guys to go around and romance enough to warm your heart, Pamela Young, owner of The Memory Café has to trust retired FBI agent Jake Gibson who is hired to protect her.
But they both have pasts and trust issues, If Jake is retired, Id hate to see an active duty agent, This fastpaced read is like the energizer bunny, The suspense just keeps going and going
I couldn't put this book down, The romance that builds between Pamela and Jake is hot! The suspense keeps you drawn in, I really loved all of the places described in this book too, I may be biased but Cait did a great job of making it seem real.
Cait Jarrod creates a chemistry filled story of small business woman meets FBI agent, Even though I enjoyed the romance which was sweet and hot at the same time, it was the plot twists that made this read a 'can't put down.
' Can't wait to see more from Cait Jarrod, Did not finish.

Bought it because of the great ratings, The story never pulled me in, Started off quite ridiculous and the sentences did not flow,
Lovely story about a small town girl with trust issues getting sucked into an evil international plot.
Which leads her into the arms of the so very sexy love interest, Cait does an excellent job pulling us into the story and keeping us there until the end, Was given this book for free for an honest review, Cait Jarrod really holds readers interest,
This is the book to read if you love fast paced action, adventures, romance and nail biting drama.
A real page turner that grabs you from the first page until the last, Who is the mole in the FBI Who are the good guys Who are the bad guys Who can you trust To find out you have to read this fantastic book.
Cant wait to read more for the series,
This book captured my heart with the love of friends and family and a stranger, It kept me on the edge of my seat wondering who did it and who are the bad guys truly after.
If you like mystery and romance you will love this book as much as I did, Hoping the author continues this story with the other characters in this book, Kidnapped Hearts was a really interesting story, We meet Jake who had to fake his death two years ago because of an undercover assignment but eventually came back as a retired FBI agent.
Even though he is retired he is suppose to protect Pamela who has been getting threats and attempts have been made to kill her.

The main characters in this novel are quite well developed and I really liked them, You get to know where they came from and why they are who they are today, The secondary characters help make the story flow but there were so many of them that I had a hard time keeping track of everyone.

Jarrod uses very intricate and approachable descriptions that set the scene perfectly without hampering your imagination.
She has a unique way of putting things that makes you feel and experience them alongside the characters.

This story got a bit complicated to follow when Jake's undercover persona was talked about as well as the enemies he made during his undercover assignment.
I found the part of the story about the bearer bonds hard to understand,

Overall, I had quite mixed feelings on this book, There were times when I was really starting to get into it and was enjoying it and others where I found myself rather lost and afloat.
I really liked the ending,

Please note that I received this novel free of charge from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Girl needing rescued, hot cop hero, international intrigue with good twists, What's not to love I always enjoy a wellwritten cop romance with tough, handsome law enforcers and smart, beautiful women.
This one has an intricate plot with several unexpected twists, and I seriously had trouble putting it down! There where a little too many twists and runs for me.
I read this book for our Diva's Book Club, We selected this because it had been ratedhere on Goodreads and on Amazon, We had just read a few books that were challenging, interesting, and emotional, so we wanted to read a light, fun mysteryromance.

Wow what a bad choice, I'm not a huge fan of romance and I'm usually the naysayer in our group but if the "mystery" part of the novel is wellwritten, I usually enjoy the "romance" parts of the book as well.
Well, we ALL hated this book, It was predictable and at

times just unbelievable, The characters were not well developed and were just flat none of us could develop any feelings or emotions about any of them.
We all just wanted the book to end, The plot was ridiculous and not at all thrilling or exciting, I never had to guess what came next the "clues" were so obvious, I was able to determine the next twist before it was even presented.
It took me so long to read this book because of my busy schedule but more importantly, because I just didn't care.
I was not engaged, enthralled or entertained, The one saving grace was that it was easy reading and fairly short so I was able to finish it in a few hours, just before our book club meeting.

Needless to say I cannot recommend this book not even for "light reading", I don't plan to read anything else by this author in the future, Small town girl and owner of The Memory Café, Pamela Young, regales in her life with her friends, aptly named the Band of Friends until her life is turned upside down with stolen bearer bonds mysteriously coming into her possession.

After a fiveyear disappearing act, Jake Gibson returns home retired from the FBI and ready to make amends with his estranged family.
