I highlighted so much of this book because literally any time Isis was present this book was awesome, Refreshing story with wonderfully amazing character and a strong storyline, Loved it and can't wait to start the next one, . . I'm glad I've downloaded allbooks and can continually receive a steady stream of Isis humour,

lol, Anyways cool ass last names aside I'd just like to say I loved this book, Seriously whats there to not like, it was funny as hell, fast paced and without any of that usually bullshit teen dramaz shit that makes up almost every other teen book i try to read.
I mean can i get a eye roll



Isis Blake has to be one of the few teens I've read about that i didn't plan mental murder for while reading.
Heck i loved the chick!!

But that wasn't even it, wasn't what really sold me on this book.
I liked that Isis battled her own demons, i loved that she could make you cry as much as she could make you laugh, I loved that the characters were raw and real, i loved that Sara kept us on our toes guessing what it was that happened and reveled everything yet nothing at the same time.
Point being I Loved this Book period,


That being said WTF was with that ending

I mean i feel like, . .



Frankly i don't like it, The sad thing is i saw it coming, in some deep, deep sense i knew it was going to end in a cliffhanger, and when it finally did i was the picture of a mental patient yelling at my Ipad.

Dude is pimping himself out while his family is supposedly richto help someone out, Seems a good reason but stupid in the end ask Mummy for money

And the list goes on and on, This crap may have been funny when I was seven, but I have grown older!
The writing was amateurish and plain stupid at times, Err, never again!

I do realise that I sound very harsh in this review and honestly I generally try not to be mean toward the writers and the readers that actually liked a book that I dislike.
Here,of the readers did like Lovely Vicious,

The main reason why I think this book shouldn't have been printed in the first place is that there is no semblance of realism, It reads like a badly written fanfiction, I wager the writer had a great time writing it but the plot what plot goes nowhere, It is a string of awkward situations and maudlin dialogues,

I don't have anything against suspending my disbelief for a while but Sara Wolf went too far,
So yes, Lovely Vicious was a huge disappointement for me, The best dialogue I've probably ever read, . . A Cliffhanger A CLIFFHANGER How did I miss this How did I get toand still not have a clue until I saw the word “acknowledgements” I swear if it hadnt been the middle of the night and my husband hadnt been sleeping beside me I would have been doing this

Sara Wolf solidified herself in my mind with LOVELY VICIOUS as an author to watch.
Id read the first two books in her ARRANGED series and thoroughly enjoyed the charactersbut LOVELY VICIOUS was a step above, Sara Wolf combines hilarious humor and witty dialogue for a story that had me constantly alternating between rolling on the floor laughing and sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next.

Im desperate for friends, not socially suicidal, Theres a fine, pathetic line between the two and Im toeing it like a ballet dancer at her first recital,

Its light green and rusted, with a broken headlight and soda cans littering the floor, but it does its job of letting everyone know Im poor and thats really all I ask from a car.

“No. Unlike you, I have a life to attend to, I cant afford to waste my time arguing the fine points of what makes you an idiot, ”

Isis is a walking contradiction, Her selfesteem isnotches below sea level yet she speaks with confidence, snark, and selfdeprecating witticism that keeps even the most popular kids in school engaged, She has a heart of gold and will do anything, including punching a guy and making his life hell, to protect someone she cares about, Shes convinced she will never, ever experience love or intimate relationships personally, but even in her lowest moments she fights to stay positive and strong, She is observant, smart, and can run circles around most of the kids her age,

Jack is an enigma, No one knows him. He is the ice prince of the school and refuses to lower himself to even acknowledge others at his school, yet everyone wants to know him, be with him, Something about Isis forces him to fight back and engage when hes accustomed to blocking it all out, They are equals in intelligence and observation, He is a mystery in so many ways, A knight in shining armor for a girl named Sophia, the reader can tell there might be a heart buried under all that ice but he also has a dark past that hints at danger and violence.
My favorite thing about Jack was that he wasnt just the typical jerk and as soon as you got to know him, you saw his cold personality hid a wellkept secret and a heart of gold.
He is committed to his role as asshole/ice prince and doesnt deviate it will truly take someone special to cross the Grand Canyon that is the defensive moat around his heart.


Most importantly, Isis cant take another heartbreak, so no matter how intriguing Jack might be, I was so terrified to see her get hurt again, Not all secrets are revealed in the first book in the Vicious series and certainly not all wounds are mended and I am in giddy anticipation of SAVAGE DELIGHT!

LOVELY VICIOUS is a great book for anyone who likes a strong heroine who wont let anyone silence her.
I cant imagine anyone not falling in love with Isis incredible personality and witty, snarky humor, Loved. Adored. Fell in love. Cried.
This book was everything, I can't wait to get my hands on the next one, Easily one of my favorite books I have read so far this year, Wow, I am sitting here crying over how good this book was, I am shocked at how much this book impacted me,

I was absolutely obsessed with the romance, The enemiestolovers dynamic was fantastic and the banter was outstanding, This book seriously had some of the best banter I have ever read,

Also, the ENDING, I have no words I am in complete shock, Seriously, I am at a loss of words,

I cant wait to read booksand, Definitely going to pick those up soon,

This story is remarkable and unforgettable! It caught my attention and just sucked me in without a care in the world! This story is about a girl named Isis, who moves from Florida to Ohio to start over little did she know that she would start a war with Jack the Ice Prince coping with the past taking care of her mother.
Isis and Jack are both mastermind, conniving people but that only makes the events and banter that happen between them so much more hilarious and heart grabbing, I fell in love with them individually and together, This story was refreshing and new for me and Sarah Wolf, you did a fantastic job at making me so happy and then CRUSHING IT! WHAT KIND OF ENDING WAS THAT!!! YOU CANT JUST HAVE A CLIFFHANGER LIKE THAT AND EXPECT ME TO BE SANE AFTER IT!

Shes a girl I know Id be best friends with in real life, You just have to like her right away even though she deals with a lot of issues and is running away from her past shes stronger than she knows, Shes sarcastic, crazy, babbles a lot, caring, INSANELY hilarious and has an attentiongrabbing personality, You never know what shes going to say or do next, and thats why I admire her, Ten pages in and youll fall in love with Isis, Why She punches the Ice Prince I mean Jack for being disrespectful to Kayla, . . a girl that wasnt even her friend yet, Isis doesnt do disrespect, and shell make sure you know it, or her first will connect with your face in a matter of seconds, dont believe me Ask, Jack, Hell tell you about it

Thats the first time I punch Jack Hunters face,
And as my knuckles connect with his

Jack Ice Prince

The guy every girl wants to change and be with and every guy hates but wishes they were, Jack doesnt talk much to anyone at his school he keeps to himself which leads him to be mysterious I love him , No ones ever crossed him until he meets Isis, his match made in heaven, Theyre completely different but the same why do I love him so much, Jack is cold, arrogant, beyond blunt, challenging and RUDE I just want him in my life But beneath that icy heart hes actually a sweetheart and is caring but only to the ones he cares about Jack, hit me up .
The rivalry between Jack and Isis hectic but they do have their pleasant moments, Lets just say its all fair in love amp war

“Id tap the shit outta that ho, ” A redheaded boy smacks the air in front of his crotch lasciviously, I dont have time to stop myself hes pinned against the water fountain in less than two seconds,
“Repeat that,” I growl
“WWhat” the redhead stutters “Cmon man, let go!”
“Repeat what you just said,” I insist
I redirect my glare to the redhead, “If I hear you spewing your perverted bullshit about that girl again, well, Ask the football team why they avoid me, would you It might enlighten you, ”

Side note: When Jack is turned on Halloween party WOAH BABY!!


Kayla

Kayla is the girl that is popular, and youd expect her to be a bitch because every guy wants her, but shes sweet, kind, loyal and just quirky.
But she doesnt only want to be known as a beautiful face because shes more than that,

“Just, you know, Im nice. I can get things from people, ”
“Youre pretty. ”
“But Im also nice! And Im smart! Okay, maybe not in world history, but who even cares about stupid plagues anyway We have vaccines now! Im really good at home ec, and Gregory said I have a natural talent for calculus, okay Im a lot of things besides pretty, so dont just say that like everyone else!”

Avery

Avery is Regina George, just a red head and worst.


“Its incredible, I knew she was a bitch, but I had no idea she used to be a whale, Do you think shes covered in stretch marks, or what How much of her is flab” Avery chuckles,

Wren

Wren is the student council president, popular and is friends with everyone but is also intimidating

“Im sorry, ” Wren squints at me. “Do I know you Oh, wait, I do know you The new girl, Isis Blake. ”
“The one and only!” I smile
“July,, Blood typepositive. You previously lived in Good Falls, Florida, with your aunt, Youre allergic to strawberries. ”
Im shocked, but I keep my smile, “How do you know so“
“Ive read your school record, I volunteer in the office, ”

I dont know how I hadnt read this book because It has just gone on my favorite list!!
