First Sight,is Bruiser's first meeting with Jane, This happens in sitelinkSkinwalker, but here it is told from Bruiser's PoV, Fun for fans, but nothing special, story included in audiobook Cat o' Nine Tales Fun to read about Jane from others' perspectives, as she doesn't seem to be the most reliable narrator about herself.
But this was too short! I hope there are more short stories from Bruiser or Leo's POV's, While we got to see an encounter from Bruiser's point of view, it didn't really change my opinion of him, or make me feel like I learned anything new.
Unnecessary to the series. More from Bruiser, please!! published in the anthology Blood in Her Veins: Nineteen Stories from the World of Jane Yellowrock Hello Bruiser A short scene from Bruiser's point of view, depicting how he first met, Jane.
His description of her is quite vivid and conjured a very clear image of what she looked like to him, and it was interesting getting some insight into his first impressions of her both as a fighter and as a woman.
Chronologically the series continues with the second book, sitelinkBlood Cross, but I've got a few short stories to get caught up on before getting to it, starting with sitelinkSnafu included in the Black Water anthology next.

Bruiser tells the story of his meeting Jane Yellowrock for the first time, Jane kicked his ass. It's sexy and he loved it, Short and to the point, this story is precisely what the blurb says, There are no surprises but it makes Bruiser more likeable, From all the men currently in Jane's life he holds the top position in my eyes and some of his thoughts here helped cement that.
Still I would rather Jane finds someone totally new to roll in the hay with, Fun insights into another character! Yes bruiser !!!!!!! I ship you and Jane so hard and you had my vote from the beginning, Read as part of sitelinkThe Jane Yellowrock World Companion

I am an unapologetic fan of George and this shortie is told from his pov and covers his first encounter with Jane.
She kicked his ass, he was charmed,
Too short to rate it on basis that would give much credence to it, but if you are fan of George, you'll enjoy this little addition.

One of the things I love about the Jane Yellowrock series is reading the books from the dual persona of Jane and her cat for, Beast.
Its always a rollicking fun ride, However, Ive always wondered what the many of the other supporting characters point of views would be, Well, “First Sight” is George Dumas, “Bruisers,” impressions when he first meets Jane for the first time,
It was not what I expected but quite enjoyable nonetheless, My one and only complaint is that the story was way too short, Such a tease Ms, Hunter, Very short but satisfying. In the Jane Yellowrock Companion

A bit disappointed that this isn't even a full short story it's a small piece of a short story!
Narration was good with what little there was! Bruiser's POV, meeting Jane Yellowrock for the first time.
I'm currently going through Jane Yellowrock withdrawal, so when I found the audible version of this novella on sale, I decided to purchase it.
As usual, Khristine Hvam does an excellent job bringing the characters, both women AND men, to life,
Who knew that kicking men's asses would be the way to their hearts and, . . other body parts!
When it comes to Bruiser and Leo I don't mind instalust one bit, I'd love to listen to more stories from Bruiser's POV,
First Sight might only beminutes long, but it wasreally enjoyable minutes The first meeting between Bruiser and Jane told from his POV.
Interesting, but not all that much fun or anything special, I am Team Bruiser, tho! This is the first time meeting between "Bruiser" and Jane Yellowrock, He realizes that he wants her, It was entirely too short,
A brief short story where George aka Bruiser sees Jane Yellowrock for the first time,
The narrator is really good, Her ability to switch between accents is awesome, This is another piece of flash fictionmin, It is the story of Bruiser's first run in with Jane, told from his point of view, It doesn't have the depth that I sometime see in flash fiction, however it does lay the groundwork for so much of Bruiser's and Jane's relationship from then on.
Ehh this was a short story of a different perspective to a series I am not going to continue, I listen to this on Audible's new channel section to test it out, Didn't really get much out of this and it didn't really change my impression on the first novel, Bruiser POV snippet.
