love Sf romance and alien abdution stories! And here we have a very good addition to the genre!
The story is nothing new, but still it is interesting and I felt involved with it.
I liked that here the aliens are not a gorgeous greekgod types, but they're slightly Klingonlike, but they come in different colours: blue, green, etc.
I enjoyed it very much!
I'm looking forward to reading the next book! Part here, part there, alien capture story.
I enjoyed it enough to start the next one ASAP,.Capturedbysexyalientrope but it is fun! ,RATING Am I the only one who is slightly embarrassed to read about alien romance Hmmm, Oh well, I know my GR friends don't judge, . . that's why I hang here!
I usually don't read much in the scifi/fantasy genre but when I heard this book compared to one of my favorite Kristen Ashley books, Golden Dynasty, I had to see what the deal was! Unfortunately, the book wasn't similar in my opinion but it stood on it's own as a pretty solid romance, as far as alien romances go The story drew me in and while it wasn't amazing or anything to write home about, it was entertaining and I will read the next book in the series, when released.
I guess I'm a sucker for sweet alien lovers, Go figure.

sitelink goodreads. com/group/show/ This actually has a story! And I kind of liked it,
Even though it's been done before I was intrigued enough to finish it and read the next in the series.
Sexy alien crash lands on earth and meets a pretty earth girl, Fate steps in and he takes her home, The villain of the story is the doctor! But I understood why he did what he did,
I didn't really like the heroine very much but I did love the hero, . . and that is what is important, . . lol.
stars! Hehe.
Lots of cute moments especially in the beginning! Loved how the hero supposedly "courted" the heroine according to his customs/tradition.
That was funny. p
I liked the hero a lot, The hero was just a big teddy bear, Sigh. He was so sweet! ltOn the other hand, I didn't like the heroine that much, I hate it when the heroine can't decide, doesn't know what she wants, blah blah,
Nevertheless, I still enjoyed the story overall! The first book in the Warriors of Hir series by Willow Danes.
Rakur crash lands in the mountains of North Carolina and finds his lifemate, Only Jenna McNally isn't convinced, But Ra'kur takes her to his planet anyway and hopes to convince her,
Okay, I'm one of those weird people who likes scifi and love romance so what could be better than to combine them Not the best but it was good and kept my attention.
Reread because I'm missing this world so much, I wish we had info on when/if the next book was coming out.
/stars, this book was just what I was looking for and just what I needed, After reading too many ok books and several just plain bad books, I have finally found a book that left me fighting putting it down and excited every time I was able to pick it up and read some more.
I almost passed this book by but my desire to find great PR/alien book had me taking a chance and I'm so glad I did.
This book was everything I have been looking for in a great alien romance, Yes this book needs editing but with how great the story is, the great world building, and story line the author created, as well as the amazing charters Willow Danes created and it was easy to look over the editing.
While at her grandfathers cabin preparing to clean it out and sell it after his death Jenna thought she heard a plane crash from the neighboring plane strip what she found instead when she went out to investigate was a huge scary alien who when she tried to run shot her.
Waking up chained to her bed Jenna is terrified and when she see's the huge alien she can't think of anything but escape.
When the Alien continues to push Jenna to eat, and drink, and follows her all around her house she soon see's that escape is impossible.
Even though the alien is scary Jenna can't help but admit that he is also handsome and sweet the way he tries to care for her, and almost seems to purr but with a language barrier that they can't get past Jenna finds it hard to find out what the huge alien wants.
The more time they spend together and the more he seems to pick up her language the more Jenna starts to think she had the alien all wrong.
When they finally get a change to talk Jenna finds out that Ra'Kur thinks she is his mate and all he has done has been to woo her and show how strong he is.
When Ra'Kur tells Jenna he wants to take her home she knows she will have to refuse even if not seeing him again seems to cause her pain.
And then the choice is taken away from Jenna, and as she and Ra'Kur start their new life they soon find the obstacles set up against them are piling higher by the day,con Ra'Kur's planet Jenna is something all the lonely men want even if they have to take her, and worse Jenna may not be safe in a world with so few woman left.
I really, really like this book from begging to end so much so that I dreaded seeing the percentage on my kindle continue to creap higher and higher.
The second I finished I looked up all the information I could find on this series and quickly moved it to the stalk author pile/impatiently wait for book two pile.
Willow Danes did an amazing job creating a world I easy became a part of and she created characters that I could help but love.
Jenna is a smart strong woman who though she is strong isn't irritatingly tough, Ra'Kur was a magnificent hero, He was everything I look for in my perfect hero, strong, possessive, jealous, will to do anything to get and keep the girl, while also kind and loving.
And the side characters were just icing on the cake that added even more to this story and the world created making me want more still.
We get a nice sneak peak into the next hero for book two as well as a small snippet of book two that was nowhere near enough but still left more all the more excited for book two.
Rating:.Stars Jenna and Ra'Kur. It starts out as your typical 'Mars needs Women' trope, but the world building was better, Ra'Kur is on an Odessay to find a mate, Due to war with some malevolent species, almost all women on their planet died or were rendered infertile, So Ra'Kur takes his space ship out and about to find love elsewhere, He ends up crashing on Earth in the back yard of his mate, Jenna came home to the mountain to help her grandfather in his last days, Dealing with grief, she isn't expecting to have to deal with the love 'hunting' of an alien, For the first part of the story they labour along in their miscommunications because they don't speak the same language.
You would thing that once they are able to speak the same tongue, that things would be hunky dorey.
. . but things actually get worse because
now they realize just how wide their misunderstandings are, Fortunately they both are pretty level headed, Still, things spiral out of their control and the saga continues on his planet, . .
I didn't expect much going into this story and was surprised how much I enjoyed it and look forward to the next story.
It's not really astar read, but that's how much I enjoyed it, I especially liked that the alien women weren't vilified, I decided to check this out based on sitelinkVal's review, I mean a KU that is worth my time WHAAAAA I was beginning to think I was more likely to find a unicorn or that Mark Zuckerberg was actually going to give me a million dollars for sharing his pictures or.
. .
The motherlode!
Anyway, I thought I should check this out,
It's pretty standard alienmeetsgirl, alienfallsinlovewithgirl, alienkidnapsgirltohisplanet fare, But it's an odd thing for KU it's like the author had talent, I'm not saying no KU books feature talented authors, but, . . well
No lie, these two bang like a lot, In that sense, it's the standard KU version of romance, They pretty much start having sex the first day out and most of the book is banging, But then something interesting happens once they leave Earth and come on, we have a Klingon alien/human romance, you know they are going to leave Earth, a plot starts to happen.
It's not a great one, but the author did a good job and she actually used things heretofore mostly unseen in the KU universe things like editors that don't consist of merely pressing the spellcheck button and grammar, and reactions that held true to the characters.
It boggled my mind.
So why didn't this book rate higher Purely subjective on my part I'm not a huge fan of alienmeetsgirl.
I'm not saying I don't enjoy them at all, but they aren't a huge goto for me, I just didn't see me wanting to read this, However, if I ever check out this author and see that she's branched out into another genre, I would totally and eagerly pick her up again.
Because, to belabor a point, . . she's a unicorn in the KU world,
