Grasp Justified (Alfha Law Firm, #1) Narrated By Aurora Rose Reynolds Released As Text

on Justified (Alfha Law Firm, #1)

okay read, Similiar to a Lynda Chance book, just less polished, Definitely a book you can't take too seriously, The hero is a total alpha with major stalker tendencies, In real life, he'd be on the news as wanted and dangerous, In book life, he was fun to read about, I wish the heroine had one ounce of backbone, it may have made the story more interesting but overall, it was okay,

I'll stick with this series because I like my guilty pleasure reads and I like the author, I did think the price of,was pretty steep for less thanpages but did apprecaite the author making the book loanable which makes the price a bit easier to swallow, Well that was a lot of sex in a small amount of pages, . .

If you're after over the top possessive alpha heroes the Alpha law Firm series is exactly your cup of tea,

Nolan ticks all the boxes of an Alpha, he takes what he wants and makes no excuses for it, is over the top possessive and can make your panties melt with just a look.

Chloe came across as an innocent little daisy who wouldn't disagree with anything anyone says, But she turns out to be a headstrong independent woman who doesn't care about Nolan's money, she was exactly what he needed,

Add in some drama from a super bitch ex, plenty of hard domineering sex and that about sums it up,

No there's nothing new about this but it gives you exactly what it says on the tin, Loved it Self Note: This book really screams "SECOND BEST"

The hero pretty much did everything with other women before the heroine

, Falling in love
. Getting married
. having very enjoyable sex with his wife
, Trying a baby with his wife like crazy
, Constantly idolizing her and how "beautiful she was"
, Having a fantastic sex until "passing out" with other women

So what the heroine is getting

, Being a virgin
. Not loving anyone

SCREAMS SECOND BEST HEROES SLOPPY SECONDS

Holy shit, Where do I being
The heroine is so inconsistent character wise, She's either fiercely argumentative or in constant denial, Thank god I didn't have to bear her for a whole book,

And the hero He's a certified phyco,

Unlike the heroine if he ever told ME to shut my mouth at any time ,I'll probably WIRE his jaw shut by the end of the day.
Lol.

Wouldn't really recommend even for lovers of over the top alpha males, Nothing that memorable about this read,to be honest,

Having read this authors other series the Until one, that started out not good for me and improved as the series went on and I really like that last couple of books, I was looking forward to this.

Having read some other reviews, I have to agree it gave off a very Jordan Silver/Lynda Chance vibe, with the hero, but the hero annoyed me in a way Lynda Chance's Heros do not.
I think she does it much better,

I read this over a week ago while on holiday, so this shall be short, but in reading it it felt like I was almost reading the first draft or even the summary of the story.
It jumped around a bit, sometimes stuff is mentioned that as a reader we have no clue about, The entire Maxine situation was odd and felt forced, and mentioned at some point the hero's relationship with her father, and I searched and searched through the book, wondering what the hell that was, since nothing had been mentioned AT ALL before, and nothing.

NO character development, flimsy rushed plot, too many times, things were mentioned that felt like I should have had prior knowledge of, yet had no clue,

The hero felt a bit dumb, despite the heroine being in "danger" and him half recognising a woman, or a smell, he constantly just shrugs his shoulder and gets back to slobbering over the heroine.

So, basically, read this, but then go and listen to Tim Minchin's Inflatable You, since the heroine could have been a blow up doll for all she had an opinion or personality.

And can someone explain the "alfha" thing to me, that just annoys me,

And ok, it turned out to not be that short of a review! Nolan is a high profile lawyer and recently divorced man that sees what he wants and goes after it.
When he spots Chloe he knows instantly shell be his, Convincing her of her place beside him isnt too difficult of a task, but keeping the threats surrounding them isnt as easy,

So there are few things about books by Aurora that you are guaranteed hot alpha men that fall instantly, fall hard and never take no for an answer.
. . Nolan was all kinds of sexy with a side of caveman, However, what I was missing was a connection, I just never felt that spark with him or Chloe that allowed me to become invested into this story, It
Grasp Justified (Alfha Law Firm, #1) Narrated By Aurora Rose Reynolds Released As Text
was a very short read and the parts that could have allowed me to get that connection were skipped over, We go from looking from afar, to being full blown in love with a few flashbacks, but not much,

It was a hot read, It was entertaining and well written, It had all the things I love about ARR books, but that one thing the ability to feel more towards the characters,

Overall, I enjoyed it but I just cant say that I loved it, I did love the over the top actions and behavior of Nolan and the sex was off the charts hot, but that was pretty much all there was for me in this particular book.

Reread January

Getting my OTT alpha hero fix,

Original review April

,Stars

I would have liked it more if we got the first part of their relationship, But, I still love an OTT alpha hero! ARC provided in exchange for an honest review

UGH! That's it, I can't take this "hero" anymore, And don't even get me started on the heroine,

DNF

"Behave" she repeats,
"Yes. Unless you would like me to bend you over and spank you in front of all of these people for acting like a brat, I suggest you behave, "
"You wouldn't. She struggles against my hold,
My arms wrap around her, turning so that my body is blocking her from the rest of the room as I slap her ass hard enough to get her attention.
Her body stills and her mouth opens in a gasp,
"Now behave," I tell her again,

And with that, my friends, . .

Start to finish, this was just plain bad, I've never read a book with such little character development, He was called an alpha, but I feel like that was a disservice to the word, Asshole in need of psychiatric help is more like it stalker is even more accurate, The whole story was rushed, even for a novella, And before you crucify me, know that I am Aokay with instalove and over the top TRUE alpha's, I'm no prude the darker and dirtier the better, This was just NOT that, even a little, I felt like the characters never even had a real conversation in fact the majority of the dialogue was him ordering her around, and not in a make your panties melt kind of way.

I've enjoyed this author's other works, so to read this was a shock and disappointment, It had the groundwork to be a potentially good story, but we weren't given the chance to get to know anyone, It felt as if we were expected to open to page one and just be okay with everything and in the know, The series is called Alfha don't EVEN get me started on that Law Firm, but I don't think it's ever even mentioned he's a lawyer, Like I said, there was a lot of expectations from the author to the reader and it all fell horribly flat, I found myself cringing multiple times at the cervix touching, breeding, and implanting seed I could keep going, but you get the gist, I felt like the book wassex, which I'm usually okay with, but there was no storyline or connection, which is paramount, Beyond bummed .
