can't get into it, I normally adore this author but this one is not for me,

So ridiculous It was not enjoyable to have the female protagonist thrown from one terrifying, abusive situation to the next.

. Definitivamente me voy a leer la serie This book has some pretty harsh reviews, but I liked it.
Dysfunctionally codependent heroine my hero anti hero who is an assassin who I am assuming has to be some kinda sociopath.
I thought it made for a really interesting dynamic, Although the heroine is annoying at times in her weakness, her dialog was especially annoying when she begged, and I never really liked her very much, I still think she was a well thought out and flawed h that made the story more interesting.
. . I will probably read the next one because I already own it After the demise of her parents, Christys boyfriend turns on her, causing her to suffer through an abusive relationship, until she flees.

You should be careful what you wish for,

After the singleengine plane she boards is thrown off course and crashes into the middle of nowhere, killing all but one of the other occupants, Christy almost gets her wish.
She is dismayed when she realizes her only hope of survival is dependent on a man who appears more soulless than her ex.
