OMG just when you think everything is going well the shit hits the fan and the story ends at another cliffhanger and I have to get the next book.
Highly recommend reading. This is an extremely hot and sexy wolf shifter romance serial, Cassandra is the mate to the Alpha, but what exactly does that mean for her Will it end in happiness or pain I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.

This is thend book in this serial novella series.
It is for adults only due to the steamy content, This series is not yet complete, so this means cliffhangers and this one has a huge mother of all cliffhangers that had me cursing because I want to know what happens.
but I loved reading it,

This is definitely an exciting world that Anna Craig J, K. has come up with. I was so enthralled and screaming when it ended, Her descriptions make the story come alive in my head, Lots of things going on in this book though still plenty of questions rolling around my head and I want more!!!

Of course, Cassandra rocks, and now Tamsin is another woman who I admire and like a lotlots of spunk!! I definitely love Trevor now too!! Several pack members are definitely not to my liking because they need their butts kicked, but I do not want to give anything away.

Trevor never thought he'd find his mate in this sexy human woman but now that he has her he will not let her go.
The rest of the pack is not happy, though, Having a human in control of the pack is not at all what they want and they will stop at nothing to remove Cassandra from her position.
Including death. Interesting, sexy read. This is a serial so you'll need all four parts for the full story but a good continuation of the storyline.
I am really enjoying Cassie and Trevor's story, Things are going a bit deeper, and pulling me in, I am on the edge of my seat read for the next step!

I despise cliffhangers, Especially those that remind me of the old Bat man TV shows, I read this book because I was curious to see where the author would g with this series.
I just wished it would have been a complete novel instead of broken down this way, Claimed

The only way the Alpha can make sure his human mate is safe within his pack is to see that she is approved and claimed by the pack.
He knows this but knows that his council isn't going to be too keen on accepting a human as his mate.
This was actually my first read of this author, I don't have book one, but I decided to give this a shot anyway since it's such a quick read and I'm glad I did.
In the little amount of time I was able to pick up what had happened in the last book and be left needingto read book.
It was written really well and grabbed my attention from page one, Sexy and suspenseful Yes, please, On to the next!! Waking to the pounding on the Alpha's bedroom door, Trevor and Cassie are confronted with his sister, Tamsin announcing the Council was demanding his presence.
Breaking protocol, Trevor shifts into his wolf form, pulling all his alpha power into himself, to meet them head on.
Not knowing what to expect, Cassie asks point blank if she was going to kill her like Ailana had said needed to happened.
Upon hear this, Tasmin makes a decision to dress Cassie and take her into the Council chambers, Will her plan work
Not only has the plot thickened, but we see pack politics in work.
The power of the alpha, The strength of the mate bond, And the loyalty and rivalry of siblings, Not only is this filled with the intense chemistry of wolf shifter lore but with all the emotionally charged suspense the plot brings to the story.
I can't wait to see what's next, Cassie become Trevor mate
Through the claiming by the pack, Cassie is officially Trevors mate, No one from the pack may harm her, But that doesn't mean someone can't get an outsider to do it, Very hot and very exciting to read, Looking forward to the next installment of the series,
This is the second in the Wicked Mountain Wolf Pack serial, which I received via RomanceArcade in exchange for an honest review.


The story is still compelling, and the titular claiming was not what I expected, Yay!

There were a few more errors in the beginning of this part than in the first part, but I noticed far fewer as the story progressed.
Still, there were some awkwardly phrased sentences which an editor could have smoothed out,

This part of the serial DID end right in the middle of a scene, and though that's sort of irritating, I think I know enough from these first two parts that I can make some educated guesses about how Cassandra's going to extricate herself from the unfortunate circumstances.


I did still enjoy the story, and if you are a fan of serials, I recommend this one.
I liked this far less than the one previous, The issues with unclear writing continued into this one, and where I commended the first book for leaving with a cliffhanger that didn't end midscene because I hate that, this one was pretty annoying, to be honest.
My presumption is the author will leave each book with a cliffhanger to continue the series,
The characters are likable loved Tamsin, and I like the world the author has created, I will likely read the next in the series when I get the time, loved it This stunning woman was no mere surrender,

WOW!!! Talk about a fangtastically intense read and it doesnt get more intense than this: Blood was blood, and bloodlines were very important to shifters.
But mates were even more important, Dont you wish that all of that could be real I know I would! This part follows right from where Surrendered to the Pack bookleft off and it does not even slow down so you catch your breath! I bet right about now Cassie is wishing she was back on that gigantic bed watching thosehunks coming towards her! Well, okay, she isn't the only one wishing for that! naughty grin What I wouldnt give to be Cassie! dreamy sigh I cannot believe the actions of the rest of the pack, well at least some of them.
I was griping my tablet so hard while reading this part of the story because of the intensity of both the storyline as well as the exceptionally hot, sexy amp naughty parts too! His woman.
His claim, His mate. Now THAT is spoken like a true Alpha! Now that I have finished this part and have discovered more about who Trevor is and how seriously he take his Alpha duties amp his loyalty to the Pack, I felt that I was starting to comprehend just how huge his responsibilities are and impressed and a little awed with it all.
I think I would go so far as to say that I am also starting to understand, not agree with, but understand, that the way that things are done, they are done for a real amp honest purpose.
Even if it does seem a lot crazy amp archaic! You will have to read it for yourself, then you will see what I mean.
I am blown away with just how rich amp deep this storyline has become, with all of the barbaric laws amp ways the Wolf Pack still follows, the actions of bitter wolves, this unique story that is so beautifully written and with just how much I am loving it all!! I cannot wait for the rest of the story! Anna has definitely made a stalker/fan out of this reader and I am eagerly looking forward to reading all of her books for years to come! Cassie finally gets claimed by the pack and Trevor but thats not the end.

This second installment in the serial is hotter and more suspenseful than part one.
I can't wait to see how Trevor and Cassandra deal with the evil machinations of his jealous older brother, Thayne.
It's time to call in the troops, a short episode that will keep you enthralled with the story
The drama of this story is kicked up in this part of the plot, which made it a fast read.
I know it was ending in a cliffhanger but it was still frustrating when i hit it, because, hello The schtuff was definitely hitting the fan! I'm still in love with the characterizations and will hopefully be able to read the next parts without interruptions.

I would have given this book aif it hadn't ended in a cliffhanger.
I think the author has a very good story going on but I hate when you are left with a wolf lunging for the kill and you have to give up the story or buy the next book.
So yes, great story of the struggle for a mere human to be the alpha's mate, but if you don't like cliffhangers don't start it.
