love this author. Initially the world building was wonderful but towards the end there were a few things that I felt could have been explained.
Too quick but goodstars. Absolute silly fun! The Brides of Mordenne is not my favorite series by Jeanette Lynn, Don't get me wrong, it's okay in it's own right, but the "meh" kind of okay, not the "nice" kind of okay.
I guess the girls just don't get enough space to be weird and obnoxious or something, and that's the best trait of Lynn's female characters.
They're all weird as heck and I like them that way, NO. An enjoyable read, but far too short for all of the outofleftfield information thrown into the finalof the book, It ended up feeling muddled and confused, I enjoyed this story. A quick and easy read! Easy read, good to go in, I don't like the "your mouth says 'no', but your body says 'yes'" bit that Lynn is so fond of, since it pretty well borders on rape.
Being a short story, the characters have no room to grow and understand one another, This was an Insta love on his end, but he had to work for her attentions, She was way too compliant after his antics though, Great story. Really funny and sexy. Loved Alfred and Kat and will definitely be reading the rest of this series, Recommend. Der Anfang war noch richtig gut und vor allem witzig, Die Prota ist nicht auf den Mund gefallen, Sie hat über eine DatingAgentur ein Date arrangiert, nur leider erscheint der auserwählte nicht bzw, erst viel zu spät, Dann ist er auch noch in einem unmöglichem Zustand und benimmt sich wie die Axt im Walde, Das lässt Kat nicht mit sich machen und sagt ihm sehr deutlich die Wacht an, aber damit hat Alfred nicht gerechnet und erst recht nicht damit, dass ihm Kat auch noch gefällt.
Hätte er das gewusst, wäre das erste Date anders gelaufen, denn hinter seinem ganzen Verhalten steckte System, Was, dass muss man selbst lesen, Naja, so witzig das am Anfang dann alles noch war, so sehr flachte es dann aber ab etwa der Hälfte des Buches ab.
Eigentlich sobald klar war das Alfred ein Werwolf ist und Kat eine Menschenfrau, die nichts von der Existenz von magischen Wesen weiß nach Mordenne entführt, damit sie bei ihm bleibt.
Der Schreibstil war sowieso recht einfach, aber dann wurden Szenen einfach nur noch aneinandergereiht, nichts wurden irgendwie geschickt verknüpft oder aufgebaut.
Außerdem entstand für mich keinerlei wirkliche Emotionen zwischen den Charakteren, alles wirkte so flach, Schade, da die Welt, Mordenne, mich eigentlich sehr interessiert und ich gern mehr über die anderen Charaktere aus der Fantasywelt Parallelwelt zur realen Welt aus der die Prota kommt gelesen hätte.

Bände in denen zum Teil Charaktere vorkommen, die hier im Buch schon Auftritte hatten, Leider war der Schreibstil aber so einfach, dass ich keine Lust habe noch einem Band eine Chance zu geben, Wirklich schade, da mir der Stil in ihrer anderen Reihe so gut gefiel,

I really enjoyed this book, From start to finish. I found it funny and entertaining, My only grumble is a small one, I wanted it to be longer with a bit more explanation into kats big reveal,
Otherwise another good read from this author, Fun fast read of literal mate matching for a werewolf, A fun sassy start to a GREAT series! When your date is being awful on purpose, what would you do Read more to see the fun adventure when finding your mate.
This author is just fantastic, But, I have to stop reading her short stories as short stories suck due to their length and this one could have been such a great longer book! I just don't understand why the author works so hard to fit so much into a measlypages when that effort could be better spent making me happy with a full fledged novel.


Jeannette, please give me another full fledged novel, or two, or three cause I'm dying here! I want MORE!!!!!!!!!!!! Well worth the price

Kat is looking for love and joined a match maker site to get some help.
Alfred is not looking for love, however his mother thinks he should be and signs him up for the match maker site too.
What the site doesn't say is Alfie is from a different realm called Mordenne and is a werewolf, Oh yeah, and his mother thinks humans are inferior to weres,
I enjoyed reading this, I like the idea of bringing different races together, I also like that Alfred turned out so much different than his snobbish mother, This book was a short read, but well worth the price, Creative premise but otherwise a trainwreck, That said, I did finish it and see how with major polishing this series could get better, This was quite a short story, I think for that reason it getsstars, I wanted more time. It was all a bit quick, I needed more time to connect to the characters I felt I didn't really know them, We have Alfred and Kat, matched on an internet dating service, They have a terrible date, Alfred is messy and not very nice, It did not endear me to him, I liked how he kept showing up though, but I felt it was a bit of an instalove connection, He likes her just because she doesn't seem to like him, I wanted her to hold out a bit longer, to make him work harder, I felt like it all resolved into mutual attraction too quickly, But it was a good read, I will read the others in this series, .
