Uncover An Unexpected Father (The Fortunes Of Texas: The Hotel Fortune, #3) Picturized By Marie Ferrarella Format Ebook
is Brady Fortune's story and how he went from a dashing playboy to the guardian of twins that are two rambunctious four year old boys.
Lots of laughs and love here, Brady liked his life as a bachelor so when he got custody of twin boys, his life changed dramaticaly.
He hired a nanny, then another, then another he went through them like water, The boys were terrors so none of the nannies would stay, He finally found Harper who had a way with the boys that none of the other nannies did.
She loved them and began to have feelings for Brady, too, But after a bad situation with a former boss, she was not letting her feelings show, The twins were crazy about Harper as was Brady, but he kept that to himself,
I loved how much Brady wanted to give the boys a good life even though he didn't have experience with children.
Harper was great at her job! That showed when she got the boys to settle down and not be so mischievous.
The twins were not easy to like in the beginning but turned out to be regular kids as the group became closer.
I LOVED the ending, It wasn't a regular HEA, This readymade family will steal your heart! With the third book in The Fortunes of Texas: The Hotel Fortune series Marie Ferrarella delights her readers with Brady Fortune's story and it does not disappoint.
There wasn't a huge amount of relationship development in AN UNEXPECTED FATHER, but the overall warmth of the story and the adorable twin aspect carried the story well.
I really enjoyed Brady and Harper and look forward to more from the Fortunes as the series continues.
Brady was quick to catch my heart because of the instant father situation he finds himself in and the sincerity in which he forges all in.
Harper and her connection with the twins was adorable, and watching her fall head over heals for Brady was heartwarming.
I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a fast paced series based on various members of the same family finding their happily ever afters as a bit of mystery hangs in the background as the storyline continues.
Another in the Fortunes of Texas: The Hotel Fortune series, in which Brady Fortune becomes guardian to a pair of rambunctiousyear old twins.
He's out of his depth handling children, so he desperately hires a nannyactually, lots of them, but most don't last the weekendafter he moves to Rambling Rose, after giving up managing his job and the boys in his home in New York.
Harper Radcliffe is a nanny from heaven, but how she ends up working for him covers a secret she's intent on keeping to herself.
The boys quickly fall in love with her, as does Brady, but Harper has no intention of following her heart when it reminds her too much of what her former boss tried with her.
But when his soontobeexwife spills the beans at an Easter gathering the hotel, Harper has no choice, She has to leave, only to receive a phone call from one of the boys that they are at the hospital and Brady needs her.
What can she do but check to see what horrible thing must have happened
What occurs thereafter makes for a fitting end to a great little tale.
This was a great book, I love the small town Fortune stories, This was unexpected. I loved the characters and the challenges they faced, Didnt feel rushed. Love this author's voice. Good book Good book. Brady is the quintessential bachelor until his best friend and his wife die in a motorcycle crash, leaving Brady guardian of their fouryearold twins.
The story opens a few months later with Brady at the end of his rope, The two boys are wild and have worn out their welcome with all of the family caregivers, Even Brady's mom tells him she can't take anymore, Brady gives up his job and moves from New York to Texas, where he has more family willing to help and the offer of employment at the new Hotel Fortune.
His life doesn't get any easier, as his boys drive nannies away at an alarming rate, Even the owner of the preschool suggests he needs help and gives him a number to call,
Harper meets Brady when she stops at his cousin's restaurant looking for work, She lost her job as a nanny when the man of the house made unwelcome advances, but his wife blamed it on Harper.
The wife has badmouthed Harper to her friends, making it difficult to find another position, The idle conversation with Brady doesn't go well, thanks to his misinterpretation of what the preschool owner said to him.
It becomes even more awkward when the number he finally calls belongs to Harper, The ensuing conversation was pretty funny until they straightened out the confusion, Brady's relief that she was a nanny was overwhelming,
Harper's connection with Toby and Tyler was immediate, I loved seeing them fall in love with her and her with them, There were many sweet scenes of them together, and also with Brady, It was clear they were well on their way to feeling like a family,
The relationship between Brady and Harper was a cautious one, Sparks flew between them from the start, but Harper is extremely wary of trusting him, Brady doesn't want to lose the perfect nanny, so he tries to bury his feelings, I liked seeing Harper grow to trust Brady, It's easy to see them falling for each other and how close they come to admitting it, Then an unexpected ambush by her former employer sends Harper running, But a call from one of the boys telling her that they are at the hospital and Brady needs her stops her in her tracks.
I loved the hospital scene and Brady's unwavering belief in her, The ending is sweet, and I loved the surprise the boys gave Harper,
There is a brief mention of the ongoing investigation into the balcony collapse from the first book.
Brady does a little investigating, This dadbysurprise is in over his head in USA TODAY bestselling author Marie Ferrarellas new installment in the Fortunes of Texas series!
