am not a skater, and at this stage of my life, it's highly unlikely that I will become one, but I do like to watch ice skating and ice dancing, and with the winter olympics coming up, I wanted to learn a little about the logistics of skating.
Basically, I learned three things: posture is extremely important, maintaining a 'body box' is critical, and skating backwards is apparently not as difficult as I thought it would be.
