Get Evas Deadline Expressed By Linda Hope Lee Readable In Paperback
don't know how to approach this review, . I feel my energy is all gone just reading sigh
Eva's Deadline is about Seattle fashion magazine editor Eva Sinclair, who had left her old hometown after the accident that cost her brother his life.
Years later, she is called after her father's death to read his will, which she reluctantly does, Now her father, in his will, demands that both her and Mark Townson, his protege, work together for a year on the Herald, That shocks both Mark and Eva and their mutual dislike didn't help the matter either,
As they began working together, they get to know each other better and recognize their troubling pasts, Also, there's the matter of sparks and butterflies too,
Now, what I didn't like about this book was how the writing failed to balance the light and emotional tones of the story, It felt disconnected, like a stoic and deadpan actor delivering his lines without any emotional depth, Even when which was really disappointing since I've been dying to know the truth behind both accidents.
Another thing, i didn't feel Eva was truly in love with Mark, Forof the book she seemed really
not that bothered by their separation the way you'd expect a woman who is truly in love, Besides, i didn't see on what basis she decided he was the one since for the most part his daughter was the one longing for a mommy, I can say that all they have is lust and nothing more,
Overall, I really wanted a better story ot at least a likable couple, Oh well, Moving on. Didn't like the H at all! Throughout the majority of the book he just came across as completely selfcentred, he redeemed himself towards the end, but by that point had I been the h I'd have washed my hands of him!
