The author appears to be someone who errs on the side of caution, because I have crossreferenced some of the oils and she says no to several that other books say are OK.
As an added bonus, some of the blends are absolutey FANTASTIC and I have mixed up a few of them for myself and other family members.
This will definitely be on my shelf as a "go to" for aromatherapy blends specific to mother and baby, It has a few nice little recipes for baths, facial oils, and body scrubs too, Very informative in how to safely and effectively use essential oils to enhance and soothe discomforts in pregnancy, promote a comfortable birth, heal postpartum and soothe your baby naturally.
